This is beautiful ... and I'm trying to figure out why it is so familiar to me ... was it ever in a movie? Or has the melody been used for another song? It's a part of the symphony Finlandia composed by Jean Sibelius (who was a relative of mine). www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fgwr3wrenkQ

Happy Independence Day to all our Finnish friends! The Finlandia Hymn is beautiful. I've played it twice already!

Hi all! I have found a new blog about the Queen performance. cheocheocom.blogspot.com/2011/12/queen-ft-adam-lambert-nos-ema-2011.htmlTranslation (it is very likely that noboby here can read galician): It pretty much sums up everything quite well: some Queen fans didn't like it just because the singer came from a TV reality show but his voice gave some character to the songs without losing their essence.

If I remember right, Finlandia was used in "Die Hard 2" movie, directed by finnish Renny Harlin (also directed e.g. Deep Blue Sea, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master and Cliffhanger.)
