Adam at Manchester Pride 2020 Are live concert returning?!?!?2.9.21 by Q3 Miranda Lambert (the wrong Lambert to me) will return to the concert stage in front of a live audience for three shows at the legendary Fort Worth, Texas, honky-tonk Billy Bob’s. The gigs, set for April 22nd, 23rd, and 24th, mark Lambert’s first concerts since the pandemic took hold in March 2020. The concert will be indoors and they promise that social distancing will be in effect. It is just one of a number of concerts she plans in Spring and Summer 2021: www.mirandalambert.com/tour/ Seems like total insanity to me. But if you look around, there are live concerts popping up all over the place. Is it the right time for live, in-person concerts?

Q3......Indoor concerts would be lovely but I agree that it seems like insanity.
Why take such unnecessary risks- why encourage your audience to?
Even sitting six feet apart is considered unsafe in prolonged indoor exposure especially when shouts and cheers may be involved.

I think it's premature to do live shows in close, indoor venues. The virus doesn't care how much you want to perform or how much your fans want to see you. It just spreads. The fact that the venue is small doesn't make much difference. Miranda Lambert doesn't need the money.
I wonder how Brian is progressing with his new innovative ventilation system for large venues? He was working on it with some other people. The way things are going in the UK, there won't be concerts over there for quite a while. It's a devastating fact, but true. My heart breaks for QAL and so many artists who are just stuck.
An Adam Lambert and Lenny Kravitz collab YEEEEESSSSSS! A great match-up!

I agree with you all re the advisability of live concerts this spring. There may be ways to manage outdoor, distanced and masked outdoor concerts as long as one of these variants do not put us back where we were this time last year!! sigh!.
Re Lenny Kravitz--or any other..as much as Adam claims to like working in groups, other than QAL [which is a different animal altogether..and his name is still separated] he really does not seem to wish to even wish to collaborate on any sort of regular basis....or even in one-offs other than things like guest spots here and there. And never as a "group' or 'duo' etc. So...I doubt we will ever see real performing collaboration from Adam, to be honest. Writing and other areas of endeavour...sure...but performing...not so much. He likes that centre stage far too much for that, LOL. That is his happy place, in the spotlight. And he truly, spectacularly, shines there!
I hope Brian comes up with something that truly could make some sort of performing safe. He has both the brains and the experience to be a valuable force for that happening. Brian and Roger are still pretty able and strong but they know their years have some limitations and if this goes on too long, we risk losing QAL as it stands. I am really pleased to see that Adam is using this time wisely....making contacts and embarking on projects that diversify his "portfolio" and set a base for a stability that will crumble some when QAL is finally retired. Tough to think of but very real.....

What a beautiful picture of Adam on the header. I love the eye makeup on him (the shadow seems light) but not when it is so heavy that it distorts and hides his beautiful eyes. And that sexy half smile is too much for me this early in the day, lol.
The virus rate seems to be falling in the US (but not fast enough) and hopefully the vaccine will help it drop faster. Don't know what is happening in the UK. I hope QAL will get back on the road when safe and for as long as they want and are able.
I have no idea when I will be able to get the vaccine but I lost a friend two months ago. She was only 46. Diagnosed with very mild symptoms one day and sent home and gone the next day. Her husband didn't know she had collapsed, while quarantining in their bedroom, until he brought her a meal. They could not revive her. It was shocking and very sad.

Oh lordy, Lurleene, so sorry about losing your friend. How sad!
This virus is scary as f*ck, don't care how many people try to convince us it isn't. Too scary for me to even think about a concert, don't care how "safe" the promoters or the artists deem it.

Every time AI did a group thing, Adam's talent always stood out like a beacon. I know I'm biased, but good lord, he was head and shoulders above the rest of the group
