When I showed my boyfriend Adam's EMA performance with Queen he said he'd pay pretty much anything to see them perform live together....that seeing and hearing Adam with them was as close to having Freddie back on stage as he's ever seen.
Adam working with Queen is a win/win and has no downside at all IMO. For an up&coming artist like Adam to even be thought of in the same league with Queen is amazing; the fact that the members of this legendary band actually publicly say they want to work with him again is astounding. Most artists would kill to have that kind of credibility regardless of what it might mean in terms of their notoriety.

All I have to say is I sure hope Adam gets this kind of press AND MORE when his single/album drops. Srsly I want him to be EVERYWHERE. I want overload. I want radio to love his new music and play the fuck out of it and I want DMG to get him booked on every talk show, award show, dog and pony show, and on the cover of magazines and interviews in magazines and on SNL and snag him endorsement deals and everything.
I WANT IT ALL. BECAUSE WE DESERVE ALL OF THAT AND MORE FOR BEING SO FUCKING PATIENT. hee

I am LOVING all the Queen talk for several reasons, but mostly because I have always wanted Adam to be known for and to get recognition for his extraordinary VOICE. Yes he has so many other outstanding skills and I truly want him to be a big pop star with all that goes along with that status in the world. But it is the voice that sets him apart from all others and yet that was not fully acknowledged in the world due in part to people not knowing him and also the weird idol bubble and all that goes along with with it (the petty jealousies, the picayune measures of success, the celebration of the underdog and the endless twitter and blog trolls)
So what is so phenomenal about the Queen story arc is that the entire point being made, the whole reason he is being talked about is that his VOICE is extraordinary, and everyone knows Brian and Roger are smitten for this reason (one in a hundred million" etc.,) and this is being repeated again, and again and again. Add to that the fact that Adam's first single, and maybe the whole era, is meant to showcase his amazing voice....and indeed I believe that Adam wants to show the world what he "can do".........and I am SO HAPPY !!!
Otherwise pretty "meh" about the whole thing....
