Do we have to assume that Adam will only cover Queen songs if he does some one-offs with them? Apparently all, or at least several, of Queen's band members contributed to their songbook, so they aren't stuck on just one songwriter ... who's to say that they wouldn't do something of Adam's if/when he is fronting them? That would be part of what I would negotiate were I acting as Adam's management. And as a fan, it would be such a thrill to have the truly kick-ass Queen playing on Adam's own songs. Also maybe he could do one of the unrecorded Queen songs. Then no comparison to Freddie vocally. |

Otherwise, Adam is on top and we all know that is right where Adam wants to be. Have a hard time believing actually that the two albums mentioned before Adam are actually generating that much online buzz, but what do I know...don't know a thing about either of them. |

I am a Pop whore too. First time I heard The show must go, Dream on and November rain years ago, I thought they are all Pop songs. ;D. Sleepwalker, CLYG , TFM and even WWFM have the same pop catchy tune but only done in modern style. I basically can't tell the difference.

I have no worries at all about Adam working with Queen again. None. He has new music coming out and a few, possibly high profile, gigs with Queen, as their special guest, can only be a great thing, imo. Just like the EMA performance, it may very well get people talking and interested enough to check out his music. I think the stars are aligning perfectly for Adam this era. I really do! ^^^ This^^ ^And we would be talking only about several dates in huge venues. Probably no more than 4-6 (if even that) of the largest cities around the world. If it is really a small tour. OR, Roger may even just be referring to one, the Olympics, without being able to say it yet! It would be nothing but a big WIN for all! The only question is how much would these tickets be and how fast would they sellout, because Queen has a crapload of fans!! ETA: Adam will never be "the guy who tours with Queen." Every article, in every country, says his name and mentions how amazing he is. Adam's own career is first and foremost for him. Collabs, with legends, have never been a bad thing. Don't forget, he has his eye on the prize. I have absolutely no problem with this scenerio. I think it's wonderful. And I am sending this plea out to the Universe. Make This Happen For Adam!  |

When I showed my boyfriend Adam's EMA performance with Queen he said he'd pay pretty much anything to see them perform live together....that seeing and hearing Adam with them was as close to having Freddie back on stage as he's ever seen. Adam working with Queen is a win/win and has no downside at all IMO. For an up&coming artist like Adam to even be thought of in the same league with Queen is amazing; the fact that the members of this legendary band actually publicly say they want to work with him again is astounding. Most artists would kill to have that kind of credibility regardless of what it might mean in terms of their notoriety. Seriously THIS Adam with QUEEN is fuckin' epic in every way. QUEEN ladies and gentlemen QUEEN! It's awesome sauce squared with whipped cream on top.It will get Adam gigs he can't get on his own, publicity that he wouldn't get on his own, and, I bet they will play some of his songs as well, so he gets exposure for his music that he might not have gotten on his own. When Queen calls, you pick up the phone! |
