I still don't know what is hotlink after goole. I am gonna to delete all my picture links/source here. Totally confuse all this tech terms. Wait Iceish, don't delete your pictures ... let me see if I can explain. Usually when you post a picture on Atop (or anywhere else) you upload it first to your own account on PhotoBucket or ImageShack or somewhere, then you copy the link to the picture on that site. Many of these sites are free, but if there is a cost involved based on the number of times the picture is viewed, you would pay the cost. The difference with hot linking is that you are linking directly to a picture on someone else's site; if there is a cost related to the number of views, it would be charged to the other person. As Q3 said, this used to be a problem when storage was expensive and there were costs associated with it; now, storage is cheap, there are rarely costs involved with viewing of stored pictures, so it probably doesn't really matter. In fact, some folks may prefer that you "hot link" to their photos (assuming you credit them) because then their view count goes up, considered a good thing today. If you still have questions PM me, I'll see if I can help ...

Once you go Mac, you never go back! I'm Apple all the way now since I retired ... iMac, MacBook Air, iPad, iPhone. Some people have a legitimate need for a PC, if they are into serious gaming, or do a lot of file and work sharing with other PC's ... but if you are mostly web surfing, email, organizing and fixing Adam photos, burning DVD's and CD's of Adam music, etc., you won't go wrong with a Mac, IMHO. Another issue is support ... if you live in the boonies and the only help available is PC, you might be stuck. But if you are within a reasonable distance of an Apple Store Genius Bar or a Mac User Group, GO APPLE!

JMHO I've been apple since day 1 - love love love my macbook (and my iPad and iPhone)... I know some PC users find it hard to switch because apple OS interface is really easy and intuitive unless you have been trained to expect the convoluted mishmash that is windows :-)
