Ok I am gonna ignore the GIANT SUPER LATE ANNOYING ELEPHANT THAT'S NOT IN THE ROOM BUT WILL BE HERE SOON BUT PROBABLY NOT SOON SOON SINCE SOON IS NOT BEING USED IN IT'S COREECT DEFINITION and comment on the Eber tweet from last night which made me go
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I am pretty sure he was hinting to us that the Olympics is a go or at least being talked about/the offer has been made. At this point I would be SHOCKED if it didn't happen and British Schmitish, the media reception to the idea has been pretty much universally positive. I think it has a really good chance of happening. Besides, did any of the articles tweet mention a Queen Olympics rumor with Adam singing? I don't think they did. It's purely a fan speculation and I have only seen it on fan blogs and twitter--and yes it's possible Dadbert saw it on twitter or something, but even if he DID see the rumor as he said he did....why bring it up? Out of all the things to bring up...things that make ya go HMMM indeed.
So I am focusing on that as my happy place and ignoring the fact we are left with nothing AGAIN. What I don't get is why Toby said something would happen late this week...I guess something happened idk.

I still don't understand the purpose behind keeping the date secret. Does it accomplish anything other than giving us ulcers and/or nervous breakdowns?

Well he said "typical label" so I guess he's putting the blame squarely on RCA's shoulders. Maybe that's where it belongs? I don't know anymore. And yeah - not sure this secrecy is accomplishing much. It's been a long, drawn out guessing game and you can't sustain that excitement pitch forever.

www.hot995.com/pages/toby.html?article=9494693Friday, December 09, 2011 ADAM LAMBERT: Rumors, Speculation And More...ADAM FANS... here's what I know, and since RCA didn't bring a press release today, as I expected they would, you can take it for what it is - a gathering of things heard from different sources over the last two weeks...I'm hearing the single release date in the US to radio is 12/18. It coincides with - I'm told - an overseas date that Lambert will be performing at. Perhaps a fan can dig into this and let me know the specifics on this performance, etc. I also he's dropping the album via iTUNES on 12/20, with wide release to follow, but am not certain that won't change. With label marketing plans, things are always subject to change. Especially release dates. I'm not sure the people I know are at 100 percent on what's going to happen, and they're all out of pocket today at JINGLE BALL in New York City... That being said, if what I've gathered is true, then that means we're t-minus NINE days til US radio gets the single! eta: Toby edited the article:"I also he's dropping the album single via iTUNES on 12/20, with wide release to follow, but am not certain that won't change."

I haven't thought the delay had anything to do with Adam for weeks. RCA and DMG are just getting all their shit together. Also, remember, it seems it all got moved from January to Dec. for some reason. The onyl thing that makes sense, would be an appearance he was offered and so they upped the date. Now they are scrambling, I am guessing, to make that date! UK XF is Dec. 20th, but those acts have been announced. The US XF is Dec 22nd, for what it's worth.

Unfortunately, the ruling hasn't come down yet. There is an old article from 2010 that is being passed around. blogs.laweekly.com/informer/2011/12/prop_8_overturned_california_huffington_post.phpA Huffington Post article from August 2010 (and updated in May 2011) was littered all over Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and the rest of the Internet this morning. "Prop 8 OVERTURNED: Gay Marriage Ban Struck Down In California," reads the headline. Nope. yeah... sorry all! wasn't paying any attention to what I was reading... carry on angsting about the lack of news. grrr. If it makes you feel any better, Neil got fooled too. negativeneil Neil Lambert Prop 8 OVERTURNED. huff.to/rFtQdM scroll to the bottom for 6 simple rebuttals to dumb shit Conservatives say about gay marriage. 1 hour ago
negativeneil Neil Lambert Welp, the Prop 8 article is from last year. Explains why no one else is talking about it. Be careful when exiting the Fantasy Train. 1 hour ago
