More about the pendant that Pennyroyal is designing. Adam Lambert Fan club Via @glambert620 on AO: UPDATE: The SURPRISE of the New "Light and Love" Pendant revealed! Can't wait for all of you to see it UPDATE: THE SURPRISE REVEALED!!! After several conversations with Tim over the weekend, I found out that the surprise I was hoping to keep, has been revealed to the one person I was going to try to keep it from - Adam. Even though I wanted to keep it a secret, I've been bursting at the seams to tell you guys, so now I can! Adam will be receiving one of the pendants as a birthday gift!!! It will say "Light and Love - From Your Fans" on the back! [snip] Think of every pendant purchased as a life saved through the amazing work The Trevor Project does. How great it will be to give $30,000 to The Trevor Project on Adam's 30th birthday as a thank you for everything he gives us!!! This will be done with approval from Adam. If you guys have other questions, send Tim a tweet or a FB message and I'm sure he'll get back to you right away. I can't wait for you to see the design! Just read Adam is going to Shanghai ... Those dates are not a lovely time to be going through the Shanghai airport.... But maybe he is VIP .so he will be fine... Well China is a strong economy... it's a good move to strengthen his market position in China and Asia... Coca Cola's 2nd quarter porfits jumped about 18% due to increase in sales in China and Asia. And sales in China jumped 24%, but Coca Cola , posted No growth in North America. So there you go... off to Shanghai then... And so folks got to go... was just hoping for some new music... so I guess none yet.... I checked the flights from Shanghai to LAX and no matter which non-stop Adam takes, he arrives in LA about 4.5 hours before he left, Shanghai time. (That is cool! I want to do that someday!) I still say US X Factor is a possibility. Because even though we are discussing, now, why it was delayed from last week. To me that's simple, "Something wasn't quite ready last Friday." The real question for me, is Why was it moved up in the first place? As recent as the EMAs and the UK visit, Adam was saying single in January. I do not, for a minute, think the Shanghai event has anything to do with the date being moved up. I agree. We know the Shanghai event was booked last May so that is not new. SOMETHING ELSE IS GOING ON. Perhaps it is just as simple as RCA wanting some more revenue in December and pushing the single out before the bit post-Christmas iTunes buying period. With Sony, it is usually best to follow the money. |

He's doing a private event for Japanes Amway people though, so I don't think this trip will be to break into the Chinese market. |

Does anyone have any ideas on what Adam will perform in Shanghai? Do we assume it is FYE songs?
I wonder how many. So the band has to learn (Ashley) or refresh themselves on FYE at the same time they are working on the songs or at least one song from Trespassing? Just curious what some of you think

Just curious what some of you think His private shows have been 10 to 12 songs -- and about 45 minutes of performance time. I expect it to be old material -- FYE, Idol and other covers. Just like the other private shows. |

Just curious what some of you think I think mostly FYE, a few covers, maybe OOL and maybe some song from the album that is not the single. Unless the single comes out before this event. He is not, IMO, going to do the single there if it is not out on radio yet. As a general rule, the setlist for these types of events is pretty short. Or as someone said yesterday, either NoAngel or Susie, since we will probaly get no You Tubes, he will most likely do Pick You Up, Master Plan, Can't Let You Go, and Time for Miracles!  ETA: I type too slow! I see Q3 already answered and is thinking the same thing! |

The only thing that comes to my mind IF the move up for the single is due to the Shanghai trip would be contractual. As in... the contract had a clause that he would perform his new single, since everyone thought it would be out by then. Then, when it got pushed back and the date came nearing for the performance, so perhaps it became a "wait! you have a contractual obligation to sing a NEW song" or some such.
Who knows - but that is a consideration - if such a clause exists?
Otherwise, it seemed to me that something changed while he was in England after the EMA. It was right around that time toward him leaving back to the states that rumors started to fly around about the release being moved up... Or at least not long after. I have always thought perhaps some performance in the UK or other international area but a peep here from the UK said nothing special is going on from now till the end of the year known... So again, who knows??? Does the UK have any NYE celebrations that could fit?
Anyway, those are the main two thoughts I have on the subject. For our international fans, any other events going on that could include Adam.
RE: Fan art - as someone who love to draw and paint (not good at it) I love to see what others do - even if not professional. I am enjoying the drawings here on a slow news day. The ones that don't catch my eye I glance and scroll. Others I study and marvel at. Art, like many things, is in the eye of the beholder, as the saying goes. I wouldn't want someone to feel bad about their inspiration and creativity just because it is not my cuppa...
ETA" RE Sauli new blog: his eyes really do look very tired... poor bb... and what does he keep looking down at and messing with ;D
And I see others think no way could the Shanghai trip be the reason for the move up...
Let's hope for news soon:-)
