I would say "No way!" Especially for a private event like this.
If it was for somehting like the AMAs, then possibly.
Anyway, they have known about this event since late Spring and at the EMAs Adam was still saying, "single in January." No, it's something else.
I have had something in the back of my mind but have been afraid to say it ..... should I?

Thanks to all of you who are trying to help me to understand astrology. Makes a LITTLE more sense to me now...I was brought up without any religion thus I have come to realize that faith is something one can believe in despite logic. Unfortunately for me, if it is illogical, I can't blindly believe--and I don't understand how others can either, whether they are staking everything on the words in a book written by man, or thinking there is enough knowledge of the universe to know how it rules us. And especially when it is not something they were taught to believe in from a young age. I know Adam is incredibly intelligent and I guess it is his need and pull towards fantasy that leads him to this. I am happy that he has something that makes him feel at peace with the otherwise seemingly randomness of life.
Hope my lack of faith hasn't come across as lack of respect....So,now, I will TRY to be patient when considering that, what we are all waiting for, may be the damn planets to move!!

Happy Birthday maria222pf and melisende:-) The only thing that comes to my mind IF the move up for the single is due to the Shanghai trip would be contractual. As in... the contract had a clause that he would perform his new single, since everyone thought it would be out by then. Then, when it got pushed back and the date came nearing for the performance perhaps it became a "wait you have a contractual obligation for sing a NEW song" or some such. Who knows - but that is a consideration if such a clause exists? Otherwise, it seemed to me that something changed while he was in England after the EMA. It was right around that time toward him leaving back to the states that rumors started to fly around about the release being moved up... Or at least not long after. I have always thought perhaps some performance in the UK or other international area but a peep here from the UK said nothing special going on from now till the end of the year known... So again, who knows??? Does the UK have any NYE celebrations that could fit? Anyway, those are the main two thought I have on the subject. For our international fans, any other events going on that could include Adam. There is NO chance that there is a requirement to perform a new single in the Amway contract. IF there was a requirement to do so, it would not be a surprise. We know very little EXCEPT that Adam and RCA exec said the release would be in January 2012 and then it was pushed up to December before Christmas. Yes, it was moved after the EMAs but I do not believe it is related. |

OK, this is so far out there, I only mentioned it to one Atopper in a DM. (She kind of said, "um, no!" ) ;D
What if....... Adam is going to be announced as the first artist on Dr. Luke's new label? What if...... the most recent delays have been because the Dr Luke stuff wasn't quite ready?
This, would be a major press release! It could be the reason for all the secrecy?
ETA: This is all wild conjecture on my part I know nothing! But, Adam, this is what happens to our brains when we know nothing!!!
