Niecy Nash hosts the 32nd Annual GLAAD Media Awards with appearances by JoJo Siwa, Katy Perry, Laverne Cox, Sterling K. Brown, Nyle DiMarco, Bob the Drag Queen, Dan Levy and more! Performances by CHIKA, Rebecca Black, and Jessica Betts. The cast of Glee will reunite for a special tribute to the legacy of the late Naya Rivera’s character Santana Lopez.

The GLAAD Media Awards are the most visible LGBTQ awards show in the world, celebrating the LGBTQ images and stories in media that change hearts and minds and accelerate acceptance for the LGBTQ community.

About the nominees for Outstanding Music Artist

Adam is nominated for Outstanding Music Artist for Velvet. He is in a really crowded field and it's really hard to figure out who will win this.

It is Adam's fifth nomination; he won in 2013 for Trespassing. It is also the fifth nomination for Lady Gaga who one twice for Born This Way and Fame Monster.

It is the second nomination for Halsey, who won this award in 2018.

It is the second nomination for Brandy Clark, Kehlani, Miley Cyrus, Sam Smith. None of these artists have won this award.

It is the first nomination for Pablio Vittar, Peppermint, Ricky Martin*

* Ricky Martin has one two other GLAAD Media Awards.

There is a lot of good music on this list. Adam has the highest critic score for Velvet and his highest ever. but everyone who has major reviews is in the same league except for Sam Smith.

Halsey has had a great year, and I would not be surprised if she won again. I will be most happy if Adam wins; and least happy if Peppermint wins because that EP is just not great music -- although she seems like a fun person to hang out with. The rest fall somewhere in between.

I would be happy to see Sam Smith win a GLAAD award for his 2014 album (his best so far) or even his 2018 album (lost to Halsey) but not this album.

Whether he's on the GLAAD Awards or not, I'm just happy that Velvet got a major nomination and a high rating. Would love for him to win. That album deserves at least SOME recognition. It was SO good.

Just occurred to me that Adam would be great on Bridgerton. Just saying'. Talk about great outfits on sexy men!

I'm seriously wondering if Adam went somewhere. Based on the times he's posting. I know he keeps weird hours but they seem off even for him. No guess as to whether it could be Denmark or London. He could be quarantining somewhere. It would be nice if wins the GLAAD award .

I was watching Studio 54 last night on Netflix. They talked to a young Michael Jackson there (maybe early twenties). I forgot how handsome he was before he DESTROYED his good looks. What possessed him to look in the mirror or at photos and decide, I don't like looking this good so I'll just make myself look like some creepy freak? Must have been some serious self esteem problems or some other issues going on with him. He likely would have been even more lost today when young immature men seem to spend so much of their time posting pictures of themselves. Not because they are real models, musicians, actors, etc. or have accomplished something in a non showbiz field or are supporting/advocating for some worthy cause but because they think they look cute. How Boring!

girldrummer, is Bridgerton good? I have been toying with watching it for a few weeks now.

Bridgerton is a lush and showy and very very British period piece, and it's pretty much soft-core porn. Intertwining stories amongst families and romantic partners, etc. Lots of beautiful rich people competing for status. My sister got me going on it. It can hook you like anything else. It's like a big, epic romance novel. I can picture Adam in all over fabulous outfits looking SO hot.
