Ok, I´m bored waiting for ANYTHING new! It´s so slow today. I´m in a state I´m really happy to read fake press releases - just because it´s new..... I´m off to work and hoping that when I get back we have a tweet or anything else. On another note - as I´m bored : - I searched for the anticipation index, which was talked about a while back: nymag.com/daily/entertainment/anticipation/#musicThey are still listing Adam Lambert TBA, 2011. Anyone infos about the credibility of this list???? seoulmate - loved your posts this morning - they where the highlights of my day so far

I'm still a mix of zen and excited with no disappointment at all. I know when it happens it will be spectacular and well worth the wait! I'm surprised at myself though!

Dec 20? Huh? What's the point? The only sales he's likely to get are from die-hard fans and that money won't make any difference to RCA's year-end bottom line. And I'd wager even those fans are going to buy it and then get distracted by the holidays, so momentum -- where is it? Would love to know why RCA would bother releasing a single when no one's paying attention. Why not just wait two weeks and do release, ads to radio and promo at the same time at a time when people would pay attention? The biggest 7 days for track sales are 12/25 to 1/1 -- so 12/20 iTunes on sale date makes sense. And that is the date that has been around for 2 weeks -- since the US radio meetings. People buy new songs for their new devices and they use their iTunes gift cards. ETA: I am so happy that Twitter Troll put out a press release answering all our questions. NOW WHAT ABOUT ONE FROM RCA!!! I actually need to go do some more work. Be back later. I actually believe we should hear something SOON, I just do not know what SOON is -- however, I like the announcement on 12/14 theory from yesterday. Everything is still pointing to an on-sale date of 12/20. It is the last major iTunes on sale date before Christmas.

December 20th? Wonderful! I wonder when Adam will officially announce it in that case? Today since it's a week away? Don't see it getting much airplay between all the Christmas tripe on the radio though :( To prepare for the upcoming release of BTIKM I have been in intense daily training, listening to "top40" and "mix" radio that plays current pop music here in Phoenix. I don't hear Christmas tripe on those airwaves. Stereo Hearts, Moves Like Jagger and We Found Love, I have become quite familiar with. The channels that play Xmas here are adult contemporary and the oldies. I have to agree with Adam, Rihanna's new music is fantastic. I don't mind getting that on repeat. It is so sweet to hear him get so werked up over Drunk on Love. It is the perfect hot and sexy tune for fresh love and romance. Gah, I can almost conjure up those feelings of early days of passion.

I just checked ITunes and Amazon.. outside of Michael Buble chart topper album of Xmas songs.. POP singles on top are not christmas songs. Of course.. The Beiber will wipe everyone away but it will probably be his album rather than a single. One can only hope that RCA has this down .The thing is will the radio stations play Adam's new single at this time of year? Hasn't Bieber's Xmas situation been out since October? I'm sure they have a plan; I'm not sure putting all the ducks in a row has gone off without a hitch, but I choose to believe it's because there are many ducks in the equation: If one errant duck goes astray, everyone has to stop to bring it back in line. I DO want to know what the game plan is (radio debut date, iTunes release date, TV performances slated) because I enjoy the build up with teases and anticipation, (NOT the stone-cold silence – that I do not enjoy in the slightest). If there are going to be NYE plans, gee, now that it's Dec. 13, would be nice to pencil those in on the ol' calendar. Since I live in an area where attending live performances is a possibility, it would be wonderful to know about them and plan accordingly. I DO think many if not all of those answers are in the now mythic press release, but Mercury retrograde, last minute duck wrangling or website upgrades ... something has postponed its release.

Freddy and Adam have similar audience effects and connection but they are quite different as vocalists. I think Adam has more power and control. But he does not use as broad of a vocal range as Freddy. (I believe that Adam doesn't focus on his range but on conveying emotional range.)
Freddy Mercury documented vocal range is F2 to E6, There are some sources who say D2 to F6 but I can't find recordings of the claimed D2.
Adam's vocal range is Bb2 to B5. (Cassie correct me if this is wrong.)
