I am sitting here glued to Atop even though I know nothing will happen for at least 4 more hours. My bags are packed and in the car along with wrapped Christmas presents for relatives. In 2 hours I will be in the car for a whirlwind trip from Austin to Houston to Tyler to Dallas and back to Austin by Friday evening, picking up college-aged children along the way. I don't mind the driving, as a matter of fact I find it rather zen and the confined space is conducive to long talks with children, but what I really want is a device, perhaps like iPhone's Siri, which I could set to Atop and have it read me the posts as I drive. Like a DVR, I would want to be able to pause and redirect it to listen to links like BTIKM and it should be able to speak squee and flail. Is that really too much to ask? Wave when you come through Houston!!! |

I gotta make a road trip this afternoon but I'll be glued to the iphone for alerts. I'm hoping that by the time I get back home tonight all the sites will be back up after the inevitable crash.
Fully prepared for the big reveal to be Pennyroyal design. Or the date the new single will be released. Or the date AO will be taking preorders. Or some such nonsense. Just give us the fucking music Adam.

You can dl from i tunes multiple times. Soundscan just won't count it. Right. And how would they know not to count it, if it is d/l on different machines? If your IP address is different and i-tunes acct is different then theywon't know and they will aall count. But the i-tunes acct on our 3 computers is the same acct and we run off a network so IP for all computers is the same |

Understand what you are saying, but at times like this, I think the pretty is a necessary diversion to maintain sanity. JMHO **An inconsequential question I've been meaning to ask for 2 years: Is it really DREYERS ice cream (which I have never heard of) or is it BREYERS ice cream, which is a very popular brand east of the Mississippi? - I had wondered the same thing. Re AO: Just hope they have finally figured out that the response in going to be global. Sony is saying global, but it seems that in the past AO, the fan club, Charity Water, etc. have underestimated Berting enthusiasm. Hope they've learned... And if they are going to SAY global then it should really BE global which means....sell to peeps from outside the US. Can't have cake and eat it too....grrrrrr #tiredofshunning |
