Zap2it is reporting that Justin Bieber and Stevie Wonder have taped performances for next week’s X Factor finale. I’ve also heard that Justin taped something with Top 6 contestant, Drew–who is a big fan of the Biebs, but I don’t have confirmation for that bit of info.
Also, I’m hearing that Florence + the Machine taped a performance this week.

I thought I was calm this morning, but after reading ATOP I am delirious once again. The cover art is amazing. Lee Cherry continues to knock me out by choosing the look on Adam's face that conveys the emotion of this song. It makes me think that Adam is emotionally attached to all the words he is singing. The art is almost as good as the snippet. What joy Adam brings to my life. I cannot wait for the BTIKM release and the release of Trespassing. I am going to buy every friend I ever had a copy of the CD whether they want one or not. I fail to understand people who say "I am just not into his music." The only thing I can say to them is "open yourself, just listen to every sound, nuance, word, tone, expression. How can your blood not boil just from the sound of that voice. Then look at that face and see the ethereal beautiy of the man. He totally overwhelms me. Adam works so hard to bring perfection to our lives with his music, and he does. How can any human not feel that perfection of sound? It must be something in the brain. I don't react like this to anyone, ever. Love what you say. Ive been intrigued by four celebs in my life: David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Shah Rukh Khan. But nothing nothing nothing like this. Nothing |

I keep reading that there was a bridge added to Adam's BTIKM vs. the demo -- but I have no idea what people are talking about. The demo had that bridge in it. The difference in the parts we have hear is Adam's amazing vocals and the production. Note: A bridge is usually 8 bars of music (in pop songs usually with lyrics). And there was a bridge in the demo. ---- Regarding the question about a writing credit for Adam on this track -- I doubt it. It is essentially the same song as the demo. Adam said he didn't write a couple of tracks on the album. If he gets a songwriter credit, I will be really surprised but it will be to give him a share of the royalties. Vocalists/musicians have gotten credit for songs since Elvis. |

Morning all! Have been lurking here since 6:00 a.m.! RL is calling, but I just wanted to say how much I love this new song! Adam's voice is stellar, I love the way he sings in the lower register as much as I love his soaring high notes. The cover art is KILLER! Such a goregous man, looks smoldering hot in this pic. And, very similar to the Details pic, thanks Animated for posting that. Minor detail I noticed, is that this pic is flipped, cause that little earring in the top of his ear is on the left ear, I'm pretty sure. I am so proud for Adam right now. He has managed to keep this thing under wraps, even with all the promo he did in UK, and playing 6 songs for a bunch of peeps there. It is really incredible that the song hasn't leaked, and that he is in control of the roll out of it. If the song will be available all all digital sites, I assume that Amazon and iTunes are international, and that they have sites everywhere? Is that right? Also, that means there will NOT be a physical disc to be purchased? Has anyone checked AO to see if they are taking pre-orders? Also, KUDOs to Viv for her excellent post last night with her musings of how Adam is feeling right now. "It's been fun...before I head out, my thoughts are with Adam.
As fans we have been waiting for a year for new music. But what has this process been like for Adam? What is he feeling now that he is finally releasing his first single? From his executive-produced sophomore album?? Is he realizing how much he is loved by so many? ( We crashed Twitter and probably Amazon.. ) I hope he is basking in the glow of this creation and continues to do so as the album release unfolds.
I think of the countless hours he must have spent in studio, with various writers and producers. The hours he spent alone wondering what direction his music would take. Wondering, perhaps, if it would be embraced. Having doubts, dreams and a vision.

The demo does not have a bridge. ???
My English is not good enough to explain this, but for example the bridge on Strut is "I'll be your mirror darling , let your hair down , show me what you're working with, and let me see you strut". It's different from the rest of the song, it is almost at the end of the song, and I don't listen to any bridge on the demo. ???
Or for Sure Fire Winners the bridge starts at " Take a walk on the wild with me.......gonna take you to the top to the brink of what you believe...

Yes!! This is so exciting! I have been dying to hear what they did with the bridge because the demo had no lyrics, it was all instrumental! Fron the review: So, does anyone think Adam might have added these lyrics and have a co-write on the song?!  |
