I keep reading that there was a bridge added to Adam's BTIKM vs. the demo -- but I have no idea what people are talking about. The demo had that bridge in it. The difference in the parts we have hear is Adam's amazing vocals and the production. Note: A bridge is usually 8 bars of music (in pop songs usually with lyrics). And there was a bridge in the demo. ---- Regarding the question about a writing credit for Adam on this track -- I doubt it. It is essentially the same song as the demo. Adam said he didn't write a couple of tracks on the album. If he gets a songwriter credit, I will be really surprised but it will be to give him a share of the royalties. Vocalists/musicians have gotten credit for songs since Elvis. Thanks for posting the demo! I just listened to it again, and there's no bridge, except for a short instrumental section after the second chorus, and the lyrics “I get kinda dark/Let it go too far/I can be obnoxious at times/But try and see my heart” are not in it. It goes verse - chorus - verse - chorus - instrumental - chorus - chorus. I think the new lyrics are Adam's addition! ETA: lol mys*&@^#r, I answered you without even seeing the question! :D |

Are these lyrics on the demo? “I get kinda dark/Let it go too far/I can be obnoxious at times/But try and see my heart.” I don't have time to listen right now. :-/ But it sure sounds different (and tons better) with AFL singing! My squeeing/flailing/berting will be on pause for several hours as I have errands AND a Christmas lunch. BBL to continue the squeeing/flailing/berting! I see katycake beat me to it re the lyrics. |

OMG, I just ate six Xmas cookies which I made for presents this year. I am going to weigh 300 lbs. by Xmas, and then it will take me three days to get off sugar. This is so depressing. Ughhhhhh Bring me some Adam while I can still walk and sit up. Help......

I think I'm gonna LOVE this song.....love the lyrics, love the drums.....the voice is OK  Stupid question but I'll ask it anyways -- do you think the cover art release and snippet release really brought some websites down? I find that a little hard to believe BUT the timing of it all does seem to mesh. I do wonder why Amazon turned the snippet off. |

OMG, I just ate six Xmas cookies which I made for presents this year. I am going to weigh 300 lbs. by Xmas, and then it will take me three days to get off sugar. This is so depressing. Ughhhhhh Bring me some Adam while I can still walk and sit up. Help...... LOL; that was me yesterday! Had a frappacino from Starbucks along w/not one but TWO slices of pumpkin bread; made a Vanilla Wafer Cake b/c my mom used to do that every Christmas; ate several pieces of that while it was still warm (yum); and then had a big dinner (probably ate some other stuff before dinner but can't remember). No wonder my stomach is mad at me this morning.  |

When I heard the demo, I knew there was no way in hell that bridge was going to be recorded without lyrics. According to Sam, there are now lyrics in the bridge. Did Adam add the lyrics? I guess we will know soon. |

I don't know how to define a bridge in a song. I expect there are changes from the demo, Claude's demo is pretty lame to me. If BTIKM is kind of like Halo-type, I don't see it at all from the original . Halo is a big hit in POP and I still play it all the time on my mp3 . Adam must done something to change it, keep my finger cross. . I love his voice on the snippet. Just a few more days to wait! The single cover similar to those romantic novel cover I used to read many years ago. He looks a bit sad and vulnerable but beautiful in the ragged background. ETA: I even like the very different font style he choose for his name and the single title, so obvious. |

Hi guys!
Thanks for asking about me and Zinnia! Like Zinnia already explained, things have been pretty busy in RL and on top of that I caught a nasty virus last week which first caused me to lose my voice and then developed into a bronchitis.
So, I've been at home since last Friday, coughing, sleeping, coughing, sleeping, and doing some translations in between as best as I have been able to. And of course I tried to hang in there yesterday with all you guys flailing! I've just been so tired that I haven't posted here much. I sure hope I get rid of this thing real soon!
