I am sooo excited that Nikka's song made the album! I LOVE HER!!!!!!!!  Me too!!! OMG If it something funky I will DIE!!!! Just imagine the two of them on stage!!!! And Bruno Mars collab?? OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!! I LOVE THE PRESS RELEASE!!! Global Superstar Executive Producer!!!!!!  I KNOW!!! I LOVE IT!!!      WE FINALLY GOT OUR PRESS RELEASE!!! And it DID NOT disappoint. It's already making the rounds (Billboard, Access Hollywood, Neon Limelight, etc. and is on the homepage of RCA Records' website). So, almost Winter Solstice for single and exactly three months later – Vernal Equinox for album!! |

Thanks HSM! Yep that's a profound explanation  [grins] Here's what makes it even more profound: I think the reason that Eber calls "Trespassing" a gerund is because its being used as an album title. An album is a noun, so "Trespassing" in this instance is also a noun. Since "trespass" is a verb, making it an "-ing" word and then changing it to a noun usage is what actually makes it a gerund. #obsuregrammarrules  |

The short-n-sweet explanation is that a gerund is an "-ing" word that WAS a verb but ACTS as a noun. Otherwise its a present participle. Gah. Here's the formal definition. gerund[jer-uhnd] Origin ger·und /ˈdʒɛrənd/ Show Spelled[jer-uhnd] Show IPA noun Grammar . 1. OK. So call me confused. Do we know for sure the nature of the Bruno Mars collaboration? Peeps seem to picture them on stage together but I think it might be a song contribution and not a duo. Did I miss some confirmation in one of the press releases?
