Why I think BTIKMS is gonna be huge. (But, I know nothing about the top 40 scene, so I am just speculating like everyone else) 1. The ear worm factor. The damned chorus has been on endless loop in my head for 4 hours now. 2. The pop flavor of the month factor. This says that when a pop star is hot!, the radio will play it, no matter if the song is any good. And people will become familiar with it and buy it. Right now, Adam is an edgy, interesting, beautiful celebrity du jour. Stations WILL play it, they are eager to start to spin it, and people WILL love it. 3. The Adele factor. In stark contrast to #2, there are occasional break out artists who give us music that is GOOD! That has substance, that we can relate to. And, these occasional artists can also deliver the song, sounding GOOD, unique, and infusing the song with great emotion. Well, from what we can tell, BTIKMS is a great song. And we KNOW that Adam is the best singer and interpreter around today. 4.. The Queen factor: For the segment of the audience that does not care about celebrity, and who shuns "pop" music, Adam has long had the AI albatross around his neck. It has gradually faded, but, with his wildly successful appearance with Queen at the EMAs, he has earned a new level of respect from the jaded , or "too-cool" segment of his potential audience. They are more likely to listen with open minds and give Adam the credit he so richly deserves. Yup, it's all good. IDK about all of that, but forget all the other stuff for a minute. I am clearly no expert but IMO what a song needs to succeed is to be CATCHY AS FUCK (i.e. something you can either dance to or sing a long to) and have radio support. IMO he is halfway there.... His label seems behind him and so far radio that we know of seems to like it....If all the ducks are in a row and radio is fully onboard this era then this song could def be a top 10 contender..esp since a lot of the big hitters (Party Rock Anthem, Moves Like Jagger, etc) are winding down. I am very optimistic.

Boy, I missed out on a lot not letting myself be open to all types of musical expression. Would you say, "I only go to the theater". I don't think so. Yeah, I understand the disillusionment with pop radio, same songs over and over, but if you are truly into music, you have to visit once in awhile. Hey, it's supposed to be fun. Didn't someone we know very well point that out at one time?

Dunno if anyone posted this yet..kinda cool...saw it being tweeted. Someone mashed up the snippets of Adam with the demo and you can kinda construct in yer head what the whole thing could sound like--minus any lyric changes and of course the new bridge. So close yer eyes and pretend Claude is Adam singing and it paints a picture of a pretty cool song. Or take it as some kind of awesome duet lolzz .When the snippets kick in you can really tell how excellent the new production is in contrast with the demo. I cannot wait to hear the whole thing. It's been stuck in my head all day. The chorus srsly has a killer hook imo. soundcloud.com/glamfan/better-than-i-know-myself-feat I FUCKIN LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I have chills!! For realzzzz!!!! CHILLS!!!!!!!!!ETA: There is no way this being out there would hurt Adam's version. It makes me want his version even more, LIKE RIGHT NOW!!!!

reason #456 why the odds are on Adam's side – it's time for a male pop star who can match it with the divas!
All the ukelele strumming feel good doo whop is fine and dandy but I was over it at Mraz and its still feels old but with no alternatives it gets airplay (oh ok and it is catchy and radio friendly fluff). From the small bit we've heard BTIKM seems to have the ingredients R&B edge, check, rock flair, check, good hook, check, killer vocal, check - add Adams style cred and stir. MALE pop prince to go.

I just love all the adjectives being used to describe Adam in these media reports. Finally, the emphasis is on his voice and artistry.
