I hate this picture and pray that the rest are better! I cringe with the thought that this is the album shoot! Noooooooooooooooo!!!!! Couldit be they are using different covers for different countries? This is very European fashion forward, IMHO...I actually think it is a great cover even tho I definitley find the single cover much more 'attractive' ... or perhaps I should say, 'handsome'. This one is really really COOL... I seriously doubt that we are in the demographic RCA is looking to attract. Must say I'm thrilled with the single cover they just released, but would guess there will be many in the coming months that will be pretty crazy - to me anyway. (Think back to Michelin Man and many others.) I hope I am wrong, but it seems that when Adam tweeted about the album shoot, his hair style was the one with the shaved sides. I remember thinking, oh nooo. The gorgeous single cover was in July or August around the time he did the Majors and Minors show IIRC. This Duran shot was when he was in UK for the EMAs. Please correct me if I'm mistaken. ETA: I should have said *most* of us. Don't mean to lump us all into one group here. There is lots of diversity agewise and otherwise, for which I am very grateful!

If you fly to Asia, if you can get non-stop flight, it is better to go non-stop flight otherwise you will be stranded in the airport for hours waiting for next flight. Plus Adam doesn't have a lot of free time this week and next week. Non-stop is good Well, let's see . . . You sleep for about 6-7 hours. Hopefully, in Business Class. Otherwise, you awaken looking like a swollen pretzel. Watch a couple of movies. Bring dominoes (the kind that don't slide). Play gin rummy. Watch the screen to see where you are in this suspended animation. Arrive safely, and thank the universe you have another day. The longest flight I have been on is 12 hrs., NOT Business Class, it sucked! I have never been able to sleep on a plane or in a car. Adam is probably playing Angry Bird, didn't he say he got hooked on it while on tour? If I was on the plane and I was sitting close enough to see him, 14 hrs. would not be nearly long enough ;D

Thanks for the birthday wishes! And I got cake too! I was in hospital until Wednesday night and when I thought I was going to still be in on my birthday I was a bit Now I'm home and reading all the fantastic Adam news here, I'm all It's taken me ages to catch up, but it was worth every minute, thanks to everyone here at Atop for bringing all the news and making this a perfect birthday. I love the snippet, I can't wait to hear the whole thing, I just know it's going to be amazing. And, at last, the UK seems to be waking up so I can feel a bit less embarassed about us over here. And that cover and the latest pictures of Adam and Sauli? That man must have a Dorian Gray-style painting in his attic that is getting older and less attractive, because crikey (translate as dayum!) he is looking so fine and more beautiful every day. It's 2.20am Friday morning here now, so only 4 days left to go! I'm too excited to sleep but I need to try, got to keep my energy up for all the flailing - yes even in lurkdom we squee and flail, sometimes we even squeal and flay, but that's another story! ;D Bye for now, see you all tomorrow! x

"I seriously doubt that we are in the demographic RCA is looking to attract."
If you have money, RCA wants you. But the Pop target market is aged 15-35 -- and I am sure Adam knows this and that his RCA team keeps him focused on it.
But just for perspective -- over 50% of the music sold in the US is sold to people over 45 years old.
