I agree with you -- it will be a hit then we will get Trespassing. And the lyrics are a take on "I would die without you". ??? Well, I get "I would die without you," but I must be extra sleep-deprived today, but I still don't get "you're the only thing in this world I would die without." You're the only thing in this world I would die without (having) (I would die without you in this world) |

Some people with love this song, some will like it, some will think it is meh and some will not like it. Same for every song ever produced.
But love it or hate it -- one thing is certain about BTIKM -- it is familiar in spots but it does not sound like everything on the radio.

Late berting, mostly flitting around twitter and music blogs and taking the temp of responses and listening myself over and over to the wonderfully clear AO stream.
I went through one day of being bummed when Toby K's song description first came out, but it was mainly over the thought that I might have to wait until March to hear Adam's first dancey song off his new album, and I've never liked WWFM. Then I accepted that and was open to whatever BTIKM would turn out to be.
Truth is, I really really like it. Do I think it's innovative or game changing in any way? No, but that's not it's job, for that I'll look to other songs on the album or live performances. It's very well crafted, I love the R&B influences and beat, I relate personally to the lyrics, the production works really well IMO and I do listen to CHR radio regularly and it sounds like it would fit in very well on my station. I think Adam will slay it live and I'm a very happy camper!
Yay!!!! I can't wait to hear it's first few spins on the radio!
Q3 I think it's closest to "It will rain"

Well...need some sleep. Great day of  !! I love the song and think it will be a hit. And I think 'Trespassing' will have some songs that will be risk taking, edgy and innovative. Something for all of our diverse tastes. Too many great collaboration on this album for it not to be amazing. That's what I think and I'm sticking to it! ;D Night!  |
