HWC - congrats on the weight loss and fitness regimine (sp?). Now being smoke free and svelte, and a date for a 26 year old, you must be flying high without the funny stuff.

I really enjoyed this one. It's longer than the others (maybe they combined them) and it's set to Time for Miracles. OMG this is too funny and scary at the same time. Moments when he was engulfed in fans and then times when he had this huge group all following along like this gigantic entourage. WOW, love the vids coming out from the airport. When the door to the elevator closed I wonder if they all did one big collective "whew" we made it through, LOL. |

Hey y'all. Just checking in quickly at the end of the thread. You probably won't be surprised to find me on smokey's end of the spectrum, except that I'm almost certainly more optimistic about the single's radio chances. Can't say I adore it personally, but then it's hard to hear it properly when your head's stuck in an overpopulated ostrich hole where the neighbors keep blasting funk music *side-eyes lindaG23* *side-eyes skylar* ;D.
Minuses: to me the sound is pretty generic and lacks the "next" I'm craving. And my main complaint from the demo remains, which is that I just find the lyrics a little insipid and schmaltzy. The good news is that this is my pretentious-bastard opinion, and radio loves that stuff.
Pluses: love the heavy drums, like the odd-ball intro and ending, like the scratches and blips though they're mostly drowned out by pop-radio production, like the bridge, especially the first half--I really like the normalcy of the word "obnoxious", which cuts through some of the melodrama of the rest for me. Adam sounds like only Adam can sound, and th whole thing sounds like a potential major hit to me.
So don't let me rain on your parade, folks! I'm all kinds of hopefull that this'll buy me all kinds of music I love! *head back in hole*

Sorry for spamming, but this is twice that I've tried to modify and ended up with 2 posts?? WTF??? hahahahaha!!
Oh well, I've been fighting with my computer all day. After my almost meltdown cause I coudn't d/l BTIKMS, I just recently thought my speakers went out.
Turned out, I just needed to reboot, thank God!! Checked itunes & they still worked there (after unplugging, etc.), so that was a good thing. I was ready to totally give up for the day! Tired of banging my head against the wall.
I'm totally addicted to BTIKMS!!!! Can't stop listening to it. And, can't wait for the rest of the album, but guess I'll have to.
Wonder what Adam will do for the music vid!!! So excited!!!!

Weight loss has been an incredible ride. 12 inches off my pants waist size. I'm wearing the same size clothes I wore in my mid 20s. The exercise has probably been the biggest surprise. It's become a regular part of my life and I'm stronger than I can ever remember.
It'll be fun to watch Adam go thru the whole single promo/album release again. He'll need the first single to hit big. to have a shot with a sophmore album.
