So thrilled that Ratatouille wont the Webby award!!! Adam had a very major role in that show. He got a lot of screen time and really acted his part. Happy!
And very cool that he is on the cover of Advocate! Can't wait for his June 6 performance for the Stonewall event!

Between this picture and the Joseph Sinclair pictures (the older ones and the current) Adam is looking mighty fine. I am so glad they are using so many of the handsome and sexy pictures of him for these promotions. He really is a gorgeous man who can command your attention without all the I am trying so hard for attention type distractions. He simply does not need them.

I hope Adam will have some new music ready to go when the Cover Bands show is broadcast in the US. A lot of judges time their releases for the maximum amount of exposure. I'm still sorry that "Feel Something" did not take advantage of that window. He had not released new music in a long, long time and the press and fans were so excited about the song and his return. Then he said it was only a teaser and not a radio single or for promotion. With the Oscar broadcast and TSMGO documentary, there was so much media interest and attention on him but there was nothing on the radio for him. By the time NE came out a lot of that momentum had passed. I know he loved the song because it gave him talking points for interviews. But he soon dropped that talking point because the media and general public won't care about non-celebrity or non-famous boyfriends/girlfriends for long. Some fans will but not the general public. But there are so many exciting opportunities going on for him now that I'm sure he and his team will take full advantage. I'm very encouraged. It seems like Adam's career overall has included many, many missed opportunities, at least from a fan's view. Some of the decisions are real head-scratchers. It makes you wonder what goes on behind the scenes, and who's pulling the strings. syca, I have to admit that there are times when I agree with you. So many times there have been those "shoulda, woulda, coulda" moments that just slipped by. He says he has a "team" working with him, and I'm sure he does. I'd just like to see more pay-off. Sometimes, I see new up-and-coming artists break through and within a year they are in TV spots or a movie role or they're hosting SNL or some such thing. And they're not all super-young either. I will admit Adam has had his share of similar things like Glee and PLL and other opportunities. He hosted that divas show which I thought was really fun and well-done. So overall, he's done quite a bit. But I think by now we should see him doing more appearances for wider audiences, like late-night shows. I keep hoping his current projects break through to wide audiences and make a good impact on his exposure. His foreign fanbases are very strong, IMO, stronger than in the US. He gets more media time in the UK, Australia, NZ, etc. And like you, I sometimes wonder about his team and how they are working for him. We don't know what goes on behind the scenes.

As long as Oliver will be studying in the US, he will have a VISA. After that... well, let’s wait, how the relationship with Adam is going to develop. I came/went to the US on a student Visa when I did my MA and it is good for the length of the degree...but...there are strict work rules. In my case, I had a TA funding so I could only work for the University...and I had to come back to Canada each summer. I am not sure that was a general ruling...but I could not afford to stay in the US without work and there was no way to work at the U in the summer. He will def have to travel out of the country to 're' validate his Visa periodically...usually to go home, but it can be done by just crossing into Canada or Mexico...or any other country. Pretty usual. I do not know how much things have changed since I did that in 1995-7. I know I put up a Russian student why came up to Canada [Ottawa] for a few days to renew his Visa and the paperwork got convoluted and he ended up having to stay over a month to get things straightened out. He was also a Grad student in the US..and that was around 2007 or 8.
eta...does anyone have any idea why my typing will suddenly and spontaneously either underline or italic...seemingly on its own. I can 'see' it now as I edit, but the change does not 'show' when I am typing the original. Very curious...it only happens on this site...and seems to have no rhyme or reason. I am leaving it so you can see what I am referencing. It happened in a comment of mine yesterday as well. I do not see it in other's posts...
It shows up in BBCode so you can look in that as you are writing (if it shows up then). Most likely you are hitting a shortcut key combo such as Ctrl U which puts in the [ u ] code, when you mean to be doing something like capital Y or something. But even then it seems like it would have happened lots of times in the past. Maybe you have a stuck key on your keyboard?

Great news about Oliver attending UCLA! Couldn't have worked out better. Adam will be back home and probably be around home a lot with projects that don't require too much traveling. Wonder what Oliver's studies will include? Business? Fashion? I guess I agree with the "pilot" idea about the Clash of the Cover Bands show. So, Kelly was there for this pilot but not in the actual show that has been officially announced. So happy that Adam is part of this show. It's a US show and I think that's important for good exposure. And there are good people involved in the show. Fingers crossed! Adam has proven that he's very good at this. They tend to have judges on the late night shows to so hopefully we'll get an Adam interview either by himself or with Megan. Hopefully not just Megan by herself.
