Bringing this over from yesterday's thread: Someone in my family lives in Seoul full time and has to leave the country for at least one day every 90 days or so in order to renew their passport. Wonder if Saulie has to do that? Though going home for Christmas to see family/friends could be a natural desire anyway. In Finland, you can get a passport for 5 years and there is no need to do anything specific related to it during that time, like traveling back and forth between Finland and another country. So there is no need for Sauli to travel here for that reason. He's coming here just because he wants to spend Christmas here with his family and friends. In Seoul and Thailand and surely in many other Asian countries you have to leave the country every 90 days because of the visa (not passport). Sauli has for USA a press visa. He can come and go and stay just how much he wants to. No limits.

Just played Better than I know myself for my two daughters one 14 and the other nearly 16 years old. They both loved it on first listen en think it is very radio friendly. My oldest daughter said it reminded her of Kelly Clarkson, who does get played here quite a bit in the UK. I love it too and it gets even better on repeat listen because I discover something new each time. I think this might be the song that breaks him in the UK I'm so happy to hear this! I have a 13yo and she loved it on first listen too! She's a pure pop kid and I've listened to more than my fair share of pop radio over the last couple of years. IMO, this song is going to be HUGE. And I'm pretty sure it's not just because I want this for Adam. The hook is RIDICULOUS. I guess we will see soon enough but I 'm very optimistic about this right now. I think it's a great choice as his first single!

A big fat welcome to: ravenwhimsey, daredevil, barbaraindallas, lumpia and kryptoman68!!! And a special Happy Birthday to SuzieFierce (with whom I almost ALWAYS agree!) The more I listen to BTIKM the more I love it. With each play I hear something new & ear-caressing. I know little about pop music but this seems to fit in beautifully with what's popular right now. And IMO it's catchier and sung better (duh!) than most of the stuff being played on CHR.

I saw a few tweets from Europeans saying the song sounds so "American" - whatever that means & that maybe they should release a different single for Europe. THAT's not gonna happen. LOL

When I first heard BTIKM, I have feeling it is written for mainstream i , definitely not for people like edgy and OTT dancey style. I like FYE and was crazy about the music video at that time. Don't really know why it was replaced by WWFM when it still on the Top spot. Of course I know the reason now. But it turn out I like WWFM a lot too and not so much about IIHY. Maybe Adam needs to be more successful in US then his label will fully globalize him in full force. BurdersIMO, if Adam has a band that match Queen's quality, he can easily achieve the epicness on Sleepwalker like TSMGN.
