Trespassing should move up into the Amazon Top 100 by midnight. This makes me insanely happy. As far as we know this is only from word of mouth, fan to fan, that anyone knows it is available for preorder, right? And I don't think the bastard album ever got that high, even on release day, did it? Despite all the sleazy promotion they did. Adam's fans sure are smart and well informed.  |

Catz, There very well may be an anatomical reason that Adam's high register sounds shrill or uncomfortable for you. His voice is full of ringing harmonics all the way thru his range, but on the highest notes, when he powers them, he is probably producing a lot of high frequency harmonics. If your ears/nerve cells are particularly sensitive to those frequencies it would sound different than it sounds to others. There are also conditions where sounds seem to jump in intensity. At one loudness level it is pleasant, but a narrow increase in decibels (loudness) and it is suddenly too loud, even painfully so. (a condition knows recruitment) . W know that different people respond to Adams voice differently, and I suspect it has to do with the harmonics ahow our body resonates to them. Just FYI. Carry on, everyone. Thanks for responding bb  Yes, on certain songs - but not all - when Adam hits his higher notes it kinda ~hurts. Often tho, it is the double whammy of having loud instrumentation in the mix as well. This is particularly so with CLYG. As I said before, I'm fine on the verses - love Adam's voice, but when all the instrumentation kicks in all I hear is crashing and banging and  forgive me overall screeching noise. It's just this muddled up, jumbled up WALL of unconnected clatter that, for me, is really hard to listen to. I really wish I could hear it the way the rest of you do. MA is another one I don't like for similar reasons. And yet ie; TOMT, BO, ROF and the glorious Strut wail is sublime for me 8-) Lol... go figure : |

stardust You were quicker that me!  Q3 Whenever I hit "Post Reply" it will error out the first time and I have to re-type my post. I've learned the hard way to make sure I copy my post. Have you tried hitting the back page button then post reply again? It always works for me. But it would still be nice to have the problem fixed. |

Did it even get announced as being for pre sale or did the fans just discover it? This photo does IMO nothing for Adam..and I am usually a silver lining type of gal.. Speaking of silver linings, yeah for the great reviews!! UK one was fabuloso once I could read it For those that aren't loving BTIKM, I think Moncher hit the nail on the head. From my first listen to this song, I saw Adam performing it live. Knowing how he is going to reinvent this song over and over and over. Cause he will be singing BTIKM for a LONG time along with WWFM..and the boi gets bored, ya know? So chins up..many new versions to come if you aren't begibbered by this one!
