Also, FWIW, I had my husband listen to BTIKM (Context: totally not an Adam stan, although was at Glam Nation concert with me and he generally likes the guy well enough; he's more like neutral towards him although my stanning is infinitely amusing to him LOL; he was a radio DJ in college 10 years ago and listens to pop quite a bit; loves Katy Perry and we both went to see her on tour; he also immediately identified WWFM as a hit when I played both FYE and WWFM for him when they were both first streaming on Adam Official - that gave him some cred in my eyes hehe)
So. I'm not home right now, sent the link to him, and spoke to him the following day. His reaction was two fold: "hmm, when I first listened to it it didn't immediately strike me as a hit, the way WWFM did the first time I listened to it. BUT later that night I caught myself humming it! So I don't know what to think anymore" LOL forever!!!
I thought this was AWESOME, cause I've heard the same reaction from so many people, that it's earwormy as hell. So there. I think this song is going places. With the RCA push and Adam's live performances of it, I predict Top 5 in HAC and Top 10 on Pop radio, a good, solid hit and reintroduction to radio. And then the next song will be upbeat and radio will play the hell out of it and will catapult Adam into superstardom - ok, this second part is more my hope talking, but still. I am going on record with my Top 5 HAC/Top 10 Pop prediction. Period.

About RCA strategy, from a fan over at Pulse (and I happen to really agree with this assessment, which is why I'm bringing it over): "He doesn't need to do promo right now. With the holidays coming everything is on hiatus. RCA needs to make sure he gets an iTune banner for the holiday sales so the public knows he has a single out. Any appearance he does now will only result in short term sales without radio sustaining it on iTunes. Let the song build on radio first and than do the big promo push." I would add: The big TV promo push the week of the drop is usually for albums - for albums you really want huge numbers on opening week. For singles it's different: there is of course some promo throughout, but ideally you coordinate the biggest TV promo push with the time when it's highest on radio, so that it gets as high as possible on the Billboard charts (kinda like what they did with his Idol appearance for WWFM). The promo that is happening right now for the single is *radio* promo, behind the scenes, so that radio plays it, and that's been already going on (as we've seen tweets about "King Joe") I'm goin' with this person's assessment. Makes sense. It is only a single release and months before the album. I also am going with the idea that Adam wanted to gift us a little something for the holidays  AND I do think he hopped that plane to Finland cuz he wanted to SURPRISE Sauli, so, SHHHHHHH in case he lurks here |

So now I'm confused........
Did Adam not show up at LAX yesterday? I haven't read the rest of yesterday's thread, just got to the page where he was at the airport.
Is the theory/hope of the X Factor appearance dead?
About Sauli knowing who Adam was before they met - is this confirmed?
I think that if Sauli knew that Adam was in Helsinki doing a concert, and knew who he was, he would have made an effort to meet him. I thought the scenario was that Adam saw Sauli, and made the initial contact with him. You would think that Sauli would have wanted to meet Adam so he could report on it on his Tutka show, yet I seem to remember that it was Adam that approached Sauli. That makes me think that Sauli didn't know who Adam was when they met that night at Jenny Woo's.
If Adam is on his way to Helsinki, that would be great, but it certainly kills the X Factor appearance hope.
