Yeah I typically don't waste my time voting in radio or internet polls or whatnot. Never been one to do that kinda shit, no matter how big a fan I am. And I certainly am not going to do it for someone who is all talk and no follow through. Srsly this station will or will not play this song, but their decision will have absolutely nothing to do with whether or not super fans vote in some meaningless poll or like everything of theirs under the sun. The PD's and shit will have their own way of determining whether or not this song fits their playlist, and the label will have to work it hard to stations. This kinda shit is game playing and fishing for hits. I agree Chunkey. I'm all for voting and supporting our hero, but I don't believe for one minute that this is how radio stations determine what to play. I'll never believe it's about anything but how much do-re-mi the label puts up. (that's cold hard cash to you non-English speakers). Sorry to be so cynical -- I do request but I'm not going to play these carpal tunnel games, just won't do it. |

I got my charity: water photo today, too! A couple of problems, though: I'm not entitled to one, and the name on the address label is not mine. The address is mine, though. I'm thinking there was a mix-up on the donation list. I did send a donation, but not enough to warrant a photo.
I'd love to keep it, but I can't help wondering if the person who deserves it is out there wondering why she never got her autographed picture. So--if your name is Kristin, and you know you should be getting a photo, send me a PM and verify your last name. I will make arrangements to mail you the photo.
