Based on tweets, comments and reviews......It appears to me that this is the first Adam single that seems to be connecting with men. I think a lot of men liked WWFM also. |

sorry to have to break it to you, but almost all pop music performed live has backing tracks. They may not be necessary for an old style rock band that uses only drums, bass, keys and a couple of guitars. And WGWG only need an other couple of WGWG. But, pop recordings often have full orchestras backing, plus all sorts of electro effects, synths, etc. it would be prohibitively expensive and compicated to tour with all that personnel. Some years ago I saw Manheim Steamroller in concert with a full symphony orchestra behind them, and they still used backing tracks for some of the electro sounds. I am afraid we will have to live with them unless Adam does a fu ll acoustic show or retro rock.  Thanks - I do realize that the big pop acts use a lot of backing tracks- and have enjoyed many of those shows. I'm a fairly frequent concert goer and it's actually not just acoustic or retro rockers who perform w/out backing tracks (some do on some songs, some don't at all) - I think you might be surprised. But yes, if one is going to do a lot of electronica and seek to replicate layering on recorded track, bts are the thing... I was just saying that I hoped it wouldn't all be backing tracks. And I know you were just using them as an example, but I really hope Mannheim Steamroller is not the direction Adam is headed in lol. Though maybe it is time for an ELO revival - one of my favorite retro guilty pleasures. I probably should have just said cute pic - sorry I am very interesting to see how Adam gonna to perform BTIKM live that show case each layers of instrumentation and harmonies of his voice with his band. Can they actually sing? Have to wait and find out. But they all looks beautiful and cute. I like big pop act with backing track too but I only concentrate on the singer and the stage setting. |

Cam has a beautiful voice and Ashley can sing too but I have not heard her. I think she has some You Tubes. I'll go look.

Cam has a beautiful voice and Ashley can sing too but I have not heard her. I think she has some You Tubes. I'll go look. I like Cam's voice, I have couple of her EP track, very sexy. She still with the band ??? Yes, and Uh Huh Her just finished their tour Nov 1st, so the timing is perfect! |

I got my charity: water photo today, too! A couple of problems, though: I'm not entitled to one, and the name on the address label is not mine. The address is mine, though. I'm thinking there was a mix-up on the donation list. I did send a donation, but not enough to warrant a photo. I'd love to keep it, but I can't help wondering if the person who deserves it is out there wondering why she never got her autographed picture. So--if your name is Kristin, and you know you should be getting a photo, send me a PM and verify your last name. I will make arrangements to mail you the photo. What a sweetheart you are to worry about Kristin. I say go for it. Scan the photo and even though it's not an original it's still valid. And if Kristin contacts you and you must give it up, so what? Win Win for both of you. And if she doesn't, well, then Merry Christmas. No regrets.  |
