Thanks for reminding me about Ricky Martin and Clay. I never really followed Ricky, and I didn't watch Idol when Clay was on. Everyone is different. Adam had been living openly in the gay community before Idol, so there was no way he could just deny hs sexuality or "cover it up." So he was honest. And he kept being asked, and he was still honest. Clay has a totally different personality. And he was not OUT at all before Idol. Each story is different.
