More thanks to all of our Finnish translators- there is simply no way I could enjoy this aspect of Adam's life without you!! This Glöggi is for you! Wow, Glögi! Thank you, Buders! And you're welcome, all of you thanking for the translations! Just a little bit of info regarding the glasses in that glögi picture: The glasses are called Tsaikka and they have been made already for decades by Iittala, one of the old and traditional Finnish glass factories. And can you guess what that metal strip at the bottom of the glass actually is? If you have metal zippers for example in your jeans, take a closer look at them and then at that strip. Those v-shaped holes are left when the teeth for the zippers are pressed out from the sheet. Reuse was the word already years and years ago... Hey Mia.. thank you for that little piece of Trivia.. showed it to my DD who thinks it is really very cool thing to know.. LOL very interesting... love hearing about that kind of stuff.

For the first time I got this song in. I should be happy now, but I feel like crying. It was heartbreaking!! I have to listen/watch it again!!

just heard on kiss108's entertainment report : "they were sitting at the bar arguing...then things got really rough...punches were thrown...adam whacked a few other guys who tried to intervene...blah blah" I must say the djs seemed impressed that adam was "throwing punches." : Adam getting drunk, throwing punches and being in a bar brawl seems to be connecting with a lot of men. Makes some kind of weird sense to me. I think for some it does. My own husband, a very evolved type of man, thought the story, including the beauty queen part of it, so great as to be almost manufactured. His tone was kind of like Eber's first tweet reaction. He doesn't think Adam is a violent person, so to him, it is just a humorous story. As my husband says, " it's Old West/Rock and Roll stuff- guys being guys; sometimes guys work their problems out physically. They always have. It makes Adam and Sauli kind of bad ass. And its a little bit funny because they are boyfriends." I think that is what you hear in the tone of those two DJs mentioned upthread. I was kind of interested yesterday in the way people seemed to put Sauli in the victim role of being "beaten up" when likely both men were being physical. I don't think subconsciously Adam would have gone there physically even when roaring drunk if he didn't recognize subconsciously that Sauli was able to hold his own physically. And that Is "man hugging." Anyway, love the new song, and this morning, after being fairly grumpy all day yesterday doing some not so fun errands with my husband, I thought of the lyric "sometimes I get dark, but try to see my heart," and apologized to him and thanked him for hanging with me on my good and bad days. The lyrics are so relatable.

(Just kidding my TX friends!! But I have been to Lubbock both in the mud and the dust seasons!)

Morning all! I missed all the drama yesterday, was out of town. Sounds like the whole "fight" was just blown out of proportion. I LOVE Adam's equation tweet! IMO, this little frackus will only stenghten and build their relationship and their love. However, there was a link to an aolmusic blog article that had a vid or pic of Adam and Sauli "fighting", it is not working now, but there are almost 700 comments on the article, and 95% of them are truly vile homophobic garbage. Lots of the comments refer to them looking like freaks, so I know there was something there. 2 points - first, is that vid/pic anywhere on this board? second - I am really shocked at how much hate is revealed, it is very very sad. WARNING!!!!! Do not look at these comments unless you want to get really pissed off and possibly ruin an otherwise great day. blog.music.aol.com/2011/12/22/adam-lambert-arrested/?ncid=webmail2

I've been sort of wondering if they didn't take Adam to a different facility due to being a foreigner. Thats my theory anyway. As far as I have understood it, the main reason was that it was possible that Adam was guilty of a crime for which he could be sued. That's why he was taken to Pasila, which is the police jail. On the other hand, apparently Sauli was so drunk that it would have been dangerous to take him there, too, since you have to watch carefully for people who have totally passed out so that they don't get hurt (like suffocating to your own vomit). That's why he was taken to Töölö, which is a place especially for these cases. This is just speculation on my part, but this is what I have understood from the general procedures regarding this kind of cases. Your speculations are correct. That's what the police also told in an interview.
