Count me in if we're going to raise a ruckus -- OJ and Adam -- give me an effin break. This is getting ridiculous. Seriously, I thought this was more then over already.

GUYS. Calm down (in a *not telling u what to do* kinda way lol). No one is getting hung on the cross. So far the media has been quite fair with Adam and a lot have even added on to their original stories to clarify facts about the incident as they came out. The only people who have been dickheads are the main gosisp mongers. Perez, because that's what he does and is anyone honestly surprised? And TMZ and even the TM staff was like WTF HARVEY and was giving him the U ON CRACK? side eye. That is hardly hanging him on the cross. He will be fine. This isn't even a ~scandal really. The only reason some media outlets still even care is because it's the holidays and the news is slow and nothing else~scandalous is going on. Once something else happens they will drop this like a hot potato. They already mined all they could out of it, to keep at it now would look like some sort of personal vendetta and reflect more poorly upon them then Adam. Srsly. It will be fine. It's almost Jan and I am sure we will get lots of fun shiny stuff soon!! I hear what you're saying, Chunky, and I do agree. But....comparing Adam to OJ just really pisses me off. No call for that, whatsoever!!! Lots of things could be said, but that, to me is over the top. I'll deal with my own emotions about it, but saying it here helps me too. I don't think it's the end all, etc., of course. But, I really think it's in such poor taste to say something like that. I go back in my mind to my Mom, when the whole OJ thing came up, and how heartbroken she was about it all. She didn't want to believe it and it really was traumatizing to her. Bless her heart. I still can't believe anyone would make such a comparison. Harvey is a total dickhead and I truly think he needs to make an apology about this. It will never happen, I'm sure of it!! Hell, he always says, at the end of his show....*And, I'm a lawyer*!!!! So fucking what, asshat?????? You are also the scum of the earth!!!! Ok, done with it. Said my piece. Just needed to let it all out. *phew* Made me really tired, too. Dammit!!! I just want life to be fun and happy for Adam & Sauli!! Adam gives so much to us. He deserves more than this. ILHSFM!!!!!!!!!!!! As we all do!!! I'll try to be happy now!! Going to bring up itunes & listen to BTIKMS now. I know that will make me happy!  |

I think the whole bit was clearly done as an over-the-top joke - abeit in poor taste. I think anyone watching would realize that the comparison to OJ is ludicrous. But I think a bunch of angry, defensive Glambert comments will just come across as a mob of overly protective Glamberts and do more harm than good. If we want the media to let it go, shouldn't we do that as well? hops.off.soapbox...  |
