do know how to par-tay hard and why, for many of us, the whole 'skirmish' in Finland is a bit of a yawn in all honesty IMO.

Our cultures do skew different, we probably do drink alcohol far more than some other countries, and yeah, I can't tell you how many times I have been present or around this type of altercation in my night club and partying years - and that includes me on a couple of occasions with partners - j/s. In saying that, I'm also saying that it is not OK when passion mixed with alcohol results in $%^^&&%^%%ness, but the aftermath of waking up with a hangover and suddenly realising just what happened the night before is devastating and gutting - trust me, I know :-/. You must go through sooooo... many stages of 'thinking' and it takes a very long time to get 'over it'.

Adam & Sauli will be going through all of this right now, but to make matters worse, it has played out on a media world stage. The fact that they BOTH have posted (very quickly) positive blogs, tweets, photos etc shows me that they are fine.

And if they are fine.... then so am I.

Yeah- I feel the same. I'm not worried about Sauli and Adam and what went on in Finland. I haven't watched the long TMZ video either, but Harvey's question did make me think and led me to some questions that remain unanswered at this time.

In male-female relationships the domestic volence is not limited to males, even regardless of the size difference. Women can be abusive partner as well, and are in 10% of cases, if I remember right.

So women or smaller partner is not necessarily a victim.

In addition some couples have a mutual tendency to get physical, and it is hard to define at which point then the action should call as domestic violence. There might be no victim, weather it is a gay or straight couple. I would draw a line in injuries, or fear factor, even though this kind of behavior is beyound my understanding. Alcohol is often involved.

What comes to A&S case, we know nothing, not about the general dynamics between them, nor what happened during that night. Repeat myself by saying that not a big incident as such, but very sad to see something like this happening between partners. Hopefully one time case.

Difficult topic to discuss due so strong individual feelings related to this.

Harvey wants attention. He is the master at getting attention. His life revolves around getting attention. Harvey is presently wielding a double edged sword and instead of gaining respect he is going to lose it in a large way and he is going to end up hurting his own rather than helping. In continuing to link Adam's name to the words "domestic abuse", it is becoming more and more obvious that your ego is trapped in your own false heroic story, that includes this domestic abuse equality lesson for the world. Heroism does not include exploiting human vulnerability for personal benefit.

You want to teach people Harvey? Show them how it is done right!! Show videos of people in the gay community who treat each other with deep respect. Stop exploiting human vulnerability. God forbid someone exploit the times you have fallen short of your ideals and make you out to be "bad." God forbid someone show footage of you every time you fall in the dirt.

Unfortunately, unfairly damaging Adam's reputation will only come back to hurt the gay community. Harvey is not only about to lose any vestige of respect Adam's fans may have had for anything he says, he is will loose them as his possible allies if he actually does want some attention or help doing good for the gay community.

It would be extremely wise of Harvey to apologize for unfairly linking Adam's name to the words "domestic abuse." He can champion the cause without using and exploiting someone in this manner. I dare him to try to step into a space of integrity. He might like it.

Skylar, I agree with you about this. Whether Harvey really believes this s**t or not, he is making himself look like a vindictive fool. I do think it is best to ignore him. All we are doing at this point is upsetting ourselves. Adam will deal with it!

Yup, best to ignore. Starting new rule for myself. No crap media vids. Paying attention to the positive life stuff and the music only.
