With all my heart, I want EW to choke on that C+ when BTIKM becomes a huge hit. I'm ticked at them for bringing up the arrest again, too. No charges were filed and A & S are back in the States--is it really still news? I was kind of surprised until I considered the source (Kyle Anderson) and looked at the other music HE reviewed in that piece. I like this song (mostly because I have a fondness for the old Mr. Blue Skies)--but it's so different from Adam's song, genre-wise...and when you look at the other song he (Anderson) rated higher, it's obvious that Adam doesn't exactly fit into what the reviewer likes best musically. There just isn't any such thing as objectivity in music appreciation. (Except for maybe technical aspects.) So, to each his own. I love BTIKM, and hope it hits the Top10 at the very least! ETA: I WONDER WHAT GRADE MELISSA M. (OTHER REVIEWER) WOULD'VE GIVEN BTIKM?? ;D Yes, it's annoying to realize that the grade could have been completely different if another reviewer had been assigned to judge it. The C+ is going to be what all EW readers see when they're reading the magazine. Oh, well. I think everyone knows by now that reviews are not the be-all and end-all of a project. It's what the public thinks when they hear the song on the radio that counts.

nonchallance Did you listen while they played the song? They called a fan, a girl, I think, and they were having a discussion about Adam and Queen? Aww it was so great listening to the song on the radio!

ydtalk.com/chatter/2011/12/2011-in-review-the-best-idol-albums/2011 in Review: The best Idol albums Posted by Mark Franklin on Dec 29, 2011 in 2011 in Review | 1 comment This is the fourth in the series of stories looking back at American Idol and imitators in 2011. Today, a look at the top Idol albums and EPs from 2011. 5. Adam Lambert — “Glam Nation Live”
In terms of performance/vocals, this album ranks right up there with anything released this year. But I have trouble ranking a live album above CDs featuring new music. Even “Sleepwalker,” one of my least favorite tracks on his debut album, sounds fantastic when Adam performs it live. The first time I listened to this, I was reminded all over again of the silly Season 8 outcome.

People will hear it on the radio (hopefully often) then decide whether or not to buy. I still think it is the right single out the gate, all things considering. Now single #2 better be up beat!

And, having written all of this, if ANY of you reading even think about quoting this post on their forum, I will personally hunt you down and tear out each of your finger and toe nails slowly and painfully. Thanks. I think I understand why some members said you were scary a few days back...

No charges were filed and A & S are back in the States--is it really still news? Am I right with thinking that EW doesn't particularly care for Adam? Haven't they always been rather snarky or whatever towards him? Not sure...anyways it's just ONE lackluster review in a SEA OF WONDERFUL GLORIOUS REVIEWS so eh. Whatever. I ain't mad. Besides...when other singles/the album drops there are gonna be reviews everywhere so we better get used to the fact that not everyone is gonna like it.
