I can't wait either, but I think he might just be referring to the fact that in the beginning so many fans saw him as Mr. Sunshine (kind of like some do Sauli now) and he is more complex than that (thankfully). JMHO of course. I'm one of those people who always seems to be happy, and am most of the time, but if I'm not absolutely bubbling, everyone is hovering around asking what's wrong. It's exhausting sometimes. I had a boss one time, someone who had become a friend, who asked me during a particularly difficult time in my life, "Don't you EVER get mad?" Of course, I did. It's just that inflicting it on innocent bystanders was not my idea of fair. Even now, being happily married, it's hard for me to let anyone see the cranky, hostile side of me. I just find an excuse to go somewhere or do something and come back feeling better. I've always thought that is how Adam is. Some of us are just people pleasers whether it is healthy, dishonest, or whatever. It becomes ingrained and is very difficult to change. PS: That is why I think being on ATOP has been good for me. I can be a bitch and don't have to take any responsibility for it. Ha Ha. See, I'm making like it's a joke, but I'm serious. It's very liberating to be semi-anonymous. Exactly !! Being a people pleaser can be a wonderful trait, but it does lead to burn-out etc...and that was my take on Adam too - glad he is 'keeping it real' and allowing himself (and us) to see all sides of him. I want him around and healthy and real for a long, long time

RE: Year in Arrests. Frankly the majority of them look like hoodlums and yes, the shot they included of AFL was one of my favs. I still think it's an amazing miracle no one shot vid or took photos outside the club that night in Helsinki. Just amazing. There would have been alI l kinds of vid if it had happened in WeHo. I agree and I guarantee there are some vids out there. They just haven't surfaced yet. There may not be any pictures and videos. 1) It was 4am on a Thursday morning in December in Helsinki. There are very few people out at that time (I lived close to that bar for several years). And the bar had already closed, most people had probably left. 2) Those people who were there were most likely so drunk that they probably did not come to think of taking pictures or a video with their cell phones. 3) People who were sober such as the restaurant personnel know better than to take pictures or video and publish them. They would not have a job in the business in such a small city/country ever again. 4) It's not typical for Finns to intrude that way. 5) If there were pictures or video, they would have already been sold to Finnish tabloids. I doubt anyone would be in the process of negotiating with US magazines for the price. This starts to be old news. I may of course be wrong, but I sure hope that I am not.

Are you referring to the donors choose challenge interview he gave to ONTD_AI? Im2718 - nope not the "plaid plant" interview as I affectionately call it! I wish I could remember more details - I'm sure there's a YouTube of it somewhere but it probably wouldn't be easy to find without knowing some key search words. I can always amuse myself searching while we WAITING for March 20th (ish). ;D Is this the one - sitting on the porch with Lyndsay Parker: (I'm new and haven't worked out how to embed yet ... sorry) Thank you for the "How To" section Fantastic interview even if it's not the one. And Catzmadam yes, I was at the M&G in Melbourne and Sydney. If you look at the photos on ALFC my pic with Adam is on the front page for Sydney. Say cheese. I look better IMHO in the Melb pic (second last I think). Adam looks prettier in both.

Nope this is not the one either although I LOVE this one! Thank you for posting it. I've searched a little on YouTube but nothing comes up right away - it's probably buried somewhere. I'm going to quit looking & go to bed. It's probably morning for you now, huh? Thank you!

Speaking of lightness & darkness, I remember a vid of Adam where he's just sitting in a chair answering abunch of questions. I think it must have been before the tour started or maybe it was during the tour when he did those "answer fans' questions" things....I'll never be able to find it because I don't remember any of the details or what he was wearing, BUT I do remember him making a comment about having down days & not wanting people to see that part. I also remember thinking that it was a rather low-key vid - he usually tries to be somewhat animated & smiling, but in this one he looked like he was just matter-of-factly answering the questions because he HAD to. Maybe that was just my imagination though? Does this ring a bell with anyone? Yep, I know what you're talking about, Ginger--rings a bell with me, too--just not loudly enough to remember where to start looking for that interview. The first year (Idol tour), I knew every confessional (besides the voice, those reaaaallly sucked me in) and I swear I had every interview memorized and knew every hair report for every concert. I coulda even told you which concert contained the "It's a lovely cock" quote! The second year, FS, RMT, and then the GN tour (Summer of Love 2010) I still kept up reasonably well. But the joy of seeing him live several times gave me new specific sensory memories that I could relive at will, thankfully, even if I could not remember every detail of every interview anymore. This year, RL crashed, and takes precedence, and even though it SEEMED like a slow year--like I said when I posted the 'Twas poem-- when you actually look back on it, he was busy. But I can't even pretend to keep track of everything anymore! I did have the Ste. Agathe concert in July to tide me over until the next time I get to see him live--what a trip!--and the EMA's was just SO amazing. But we have nearly 3 YEARS peeps--3 YEARS--of glorious singing and wonderfully funny and smart interviews--we haven't missed a minute of Adam's ride since he bitch-slapped Idol and started this wild ride! AREN'T WE LUCKY??? ;D Wow. That was a real tl;dr! All I really wanted to say was I can't recall which interview that was! For what it's worth, I remember the moment you're talking about, Ginger. It's kind of driving me nuts that I can't remember any details either. I feel pretty sure that it was a male interviewer, but can't remember if it was during the FYE promo period or during GNT, and can't remember whether it was a radio station, tv, or other type of interview. I'm SURE it wasn't during the Idol tour; it was more recent than that. And I know it wasn't a print interview! I remember the interviewer saying that Adam was so open about everything, and asking whether there was anything Adam did not like to make known -- and Adam answered that when he was feeling negative he preferred to keep that to himself. It seems I'm just repeating what you guys have already said! My one suggestion is that it might be the FUSE interview? But I also feel it could have been one of many others -- the more I think about it, I think it must have been during promo, pre-tour. And I kind of feel like he was sitting at a table. So actually that rules out the Fuse interview -- there was no table in that one. Gah...whatever! Kind of a useless post, lol, sorry! ETA: I don't know if I'm right about the table -- maybe I should look at the Fuse interview...aarrghh

Was it the online-only "ask Adam" thing? He read a list of questions from fans, and very simply answered them into the camera. Can't remember the name, but I'm looking.

I don't think so, I think there was a male interviewer, and the interview had some depth to it. Because he drew that very honest answer from Adam.

adamlambertAdam Lambert I'm so excited for you all to Trespass into my world and under my skin with this album!!! My Lightness and Darkness collide on this one...2 minutes ago Drive-by post, y'all, so sorry if I'm behind or missed something, but I just wanted to log in and preen a bit about how well Adam's latest Trespassing tweet matches the (gender-adjusted) Byron quote from my signature below, which is how I've always thought of him: "All that's best of Dark and Bright meets in his aspect and his eyes.". So yeah, I totally get that from Adam. *is pleased with herself, Prince W style* ;D LOL, kudos for your insight and prescience!
