I guess I'm not truly bored. At least not as bored as that "fan" that intimated that Adam wasn't working as hard as *cough* some others. Mind-boggling to say the least. There are videos that I've wanted to watch again so now's the time. And maybe I'll give Pandora a listen. Since I'm new and not here on a regular basis I didn't want to comment but have seen 2 people in particular who make me laugh because they are so contrary about everything. One in particular who never seems in a good mood which is funny because this is usually a happy place. I think it is great Adam is supposedly working on # 2 in Denver and I think it's cool that he has been found yet not bothered a lot. If he wants inspiration - John Denverish inspiration- there is an area called Evergreen that is on the side of the mountain and is as beautiful as it can get when there is not an ocean in sight. It's my opinion that Adam should have balance and not be criticized for taking time to live his life along with doing his creating. Too many people die with success on paper but so many things left undone. I hope Adam never has to look back and think that joy was put on the back burner for the job. You are never too new to have an opinion here! I particularly agree with your last paragraph. Adam appears to be really enjoying himself- new house, new godson, new boyfriend, cool parties, old friends, a fabulous vacation. He's earned every bit of it and more. I really do believe that the fuller his life is, the more inspired his music will be.

Joseph Lusk has an incredible voice, I will be surprised if he doesn't win American Idol. As surprised as you were that Adam didn't win? There I go being cynical again. I miss Simon a lot. As much as I love S Tyler he and JL are too easy and Randy is pretty useless. I think the only person they criticized was the the tall guy who thought he was a star during Hollywood week. The fans are on their own this year without any significant help from the judges. Another popularity contest as opposed to a singing competition.

I could be mistaken but I think he tweeted it prior to Durbin singing. I was watching and happened to pull Twitter up and saw it during a commercial He definitely tweeted it before Durbin but the press, especially gossip sites, don't seem too concerned with the truth. Glitter on the barn anyone? Why would Adam watch an East Coast feed? I doubt very much that he cares enough to seek one out. As for the versatility of the contestants, they're not going for versatility this year. No theme weeks. I think that could bore people since part of the entertainment factor of AI is watching how people adapt to having to play outside the genres. It's half game show/half talent show.

And I LOVE Evergreen! Your right, it is incredible beautiful. I went there occasionally to go to The Little Bear on Sunday afternoons when they had live music and lots of dancing and bras hanging everywhere... it was a hoot. Thanks for the walk down memory lane.

Because wherever he is, the TV has Direct TV, and he can watch an East Coast feed. If I had Direct TV, I'd watch East Coast feeds of lots of shows. He gets asked "Are you watching Idol" a lot. I don't find it unusual for him to watch. As a matter of fact, before he tried out, he was an Idol fan. I don't think he'd tweet that if he wasn't watching.

I don't have Direct TV now (have Comcast now) but had it a couple of years ago and could only get programs in my time zone. Is that a new feature?

Going to leave but one last thought that Casey gives me the creeps. Cassie mentioned his persona and that is exactly it for me, a negative persona. I can't get past his messiness and the here, there, and everywhere of his songs, like a musical Robin Williams or Jim Carrey just too too too much of everything from hair to clothes to notes. If I saw him in a club I'd avoid eye contact at all cost. Something about him just puts me off and has since the auditions. By the way, I have no music credentials whatsoever except what I like and what I don't.
