That only works if you actually let Glamberts know that he's going to be on.

I wondered if he would be wearing Halloween-type costumes in the Vegas shows but it looks like he is not. And that's good because it seems like it would be completely impractical. So instead we'll be getting a great sort of spooky, eerie vibe that is perfect for the occasion. Can't wait! LOVED the GMB interview! They love him to bits over there. And he's a doll.

OT: I said a few weeks ago that some (me as well) thought Billie Eilish would likely win an Oscar for the Bond theme like Adele and Sam Smith. Maybe and maybe not. But interesting to see some that were considered exceptional and some unremarkable. Would love to see what QAL could do. HA! James Bond theme songs: We rank the exceptional and unremarkable, from Adele to MadonnaThe exceptional8. Tina Turner, 'GoldenEye' ('GoldenEye,' 1995) It might not be the most instantly memorable entry in the Bond theme canon, but recalling Turner’s emphatic phrasing (“You’ll never know how I watched you from the shadows,” she purrs), coupled with snarling lyrics about revenge, reminds of this perfect marriage of singer and material. 4. Shirley Bassey, 'Goldfinger' ('Goldfinger,' 1964) As her voice prowls through the lyrics about the “man with the Midas touch,” Bassey is rivaled only by that growling HeWhoCannot amedet. 2. Adele, 'Skyfall' ('Skyfall,' 2012) Lushness, thy name is Adele. The escalating instrumentation and Adele’s majestic vocals collide for 4 minutes and 46 seconds of dramatic grandeur. Also, it’s the first Bond theme to win an Academy Award for best original song. The unremarkable8. Sam Smith, 'Writing’s On the Wall' ('Spectre,' 2015) Though it became the first Bond offering to hit No. 1 in England (and followed Adele’s Academy Award with one of its own), the decision to hire the suave singer felt more like trying to capitalize on Smith’s popularity rather than a decisive pairing. 7. Madonna, 'Die Another Day' ('Die Another Day,' 2002) Tapping one of the world’s biggest music stars seemed an obvious bet. But where Bond had always been about sweeping grandeur, Madonna opted for stilted electronica, leaving us cold and apathetic. 4. Billie Eilish, 'No Time to Die' ('No Time to Die,' 2021) Bond themes flourish with soaring orchestration and sinewy charisma, whereas Eilish’s wheelhouse is lo-fi cool and introspection. It also didn’t help that the song arrived two months before the film’s original pre-pandemic release and has already been forgotten. 3. Alicia Keys and Jack White, 'Another Way to Die' ('Quantum of Solace,' 2008) An intriguing pairing in a “huh, OK” kind of way, White and Keys produced the first duet in Bond history. White wrote the tune and supplied the bluesy rock grime, while Keys offered her sublime piano skills and fierce vocals. Yet somehow, it’s muddled and awkward. www.msn.com/en-us/music/news/james-bond-theme-songs-we-rank-the-exceptional-and-unremarkable-from-adele-to-madonna/ar-AAPhiAf?li=BBnb7Kz

Has anyone else had trouble accessing their LoopedLive account, where Adam's concert will be streamed? I bought my ticket in early September and immediately created my LoopedLive account, and carefully recorded the URL, User Name, and Password in my password management software. Today I tried accessing the account, first with Safari, then with Chrome (which was their recommendation in the email I received from LoopedLive today. In both cases is said the email and/or password were incorrect. So then I tried clicking on "Forgot Password" but nothing happened!
I sent an email to support@loopedlive.com and am waiting for a reply.

E! News
twitter.com/enews/status/1448075809546244113 EAdam Lambert Talks Returning to American Idol Stage 12 Years LaterAdam Lambert returns to his reality singing competition roots—but this time as a judge for E!'s new series Clash of the Cover Bands, premiering Wednesday, Oct. 13. The Queen frontman joins fellow superstars Meghan Trainor and Ester Dean to mentor cover band contestants seeking $25,000 and the opportunity to appear in-studio for a musical performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Artists covered this season include Aretha Franklin, Blink-182, Bon Jovi, Britney Spears, Carrie Underwood, Céline Dion, Coldplay, Dolly Parton, Elton John, Lady Gaga and U2. "I'm kind of partial to the divas," Lambert exclusively told E! News. "I think that's sort of my soft spot. We had a Britney, a J.Lo, we had a Céline [Dion], we had Tina [Turner], we had Dolly [Parton]. These are iconic women." The self-proclaimed "music nerd" called the experience of filming Clash "crazy"—and not just because of the competitors' doppelgänger performances. "It was so crazy because we filmed this show on the same exact stage and studio as American Idol," Lambert explained. "So walking backstage into the studio every day was just so surreal. That was what, 12 years ago? That's where everything started for me." Lambert continued, "That was very cool. I enjoyed that full circle. And it made me keep in mind that when you get up on stage and you perform and you give it your all and you're putting yourself out there to be commented on by three people at a desk in front of you, it's not always the easiest thing." The relevance of the "Best Song Oscar" has long vanished, at least for me. As was said above, the real goal now is to get a big star to sing the song so it will automatically get a lot of attention. Doesn't matter if the song is any good or not. The Sam Smith song was a real snooze. And I LIKE Sam just fine. But his popularity was the key factor, not the song itself. Of course, I'd love to see Adam get his shot at it.
