Please go to youtube and watch genesis Selling England by the Pound with Peter Gabriel 1973. Adam Lambert and Peter Gabriel are performing. I'm sorry...what? I don't get it. Adam's performing? With Peter Gabriel? What's the link? Lol, glad you asked? I read that post and I was (am) totally confused lol.

The link was to see a genuine singer in the rock genre performing in makeup. An inspiration for Adam.

Adam has performed in makeup forever. He looks good with or without it. And I love rockstar Adam too. But the OTT layer after layer ages him and hides those beautiful eyes. If it is too heavy it is so distracting. Maybe that is the purpose? At the end of the day, all different looks are Adam with or without the heavy eye makeup. His mood changes and circumstances change. Some like some looks better than others. But there is only one Adam and all sides of him are his true self.

lol mszue , you have me pegged. In my presentation, I am a very monochromatic person and I have always been this way. All the prints in my closet are just gathering dust. Now, I like to think that my personality is a little less dull and at the very least, I like to have lively conversations with myself and I am so witty. It's probably not a surprise then that my age rebellion was to decide that I didn't have to do any of that extra adornment. Me, myself, and I only may find Adam's style discordant but I still admire him very much. Lol back LindaG23...in honesty, I like beige too...especially monochromatic...haha, because it somewhat matches my hair!! See how ones nature just forces its way to the top. I always used to berate myself for always having to make a splash when I really yearned to just fit, serenely. And never did. You would have thought 15 years immersed in higher Ed would have done the trick...but it is not nice fighting with mother nature . I just hate seeing Adam being critiqued for what is clearly his natural state of being. When he tones it down, he is NOT being natural! He is being accommodating...which can be relaxing and ok too..as long as it is not coerced. IMHO

I tend towards" black, although my daughters gifted me "concert attire" for Christmas 2019. Then came March 2020.
I got to wear one outfit at Las Vegas. It's relatively conservative, so I could also wear it to an office meeting, but I felt so suave. qu My remarks yesterday were geared towards Adam's choice of stagewear. He tends to wear more form fitting outfits with Queen. He doesn't so much on his solo work - the Origil High tour was baggy. The limited dates in support of Velvet had tailored suits and platform shoes. I saw him at Foxwoods, my very good friend in LA went to the concert there, and pronounced that Adam was too thin. (For some reference, he had several promotional appearances lined up at around the same time, which were cancelled for unreported reasons, but seemed to be health related, as in a flu.)
