Don't discourage free publicity for Adam! And Toby included this in his post! Oh did he?? (I didn't click.) LOVE that version! I couldn't stop listening the other day and I'm not even a huge fan of the SSB. Chunkey and I were also playing Grassy Knoll the other day when that Sales Director for Ball State University Athletic Dept. (in Indiana), who tweeted he had spent the afternoon watching Adam Lambert videos. Turns out the guy was on a committee that helped bring Super Bowl to Indianapolis. I do think that tweet from official Super Bowl twitter was not random. How did they even know Adam was born in Indianapolis if they didn't research it? It's not a widely known fact, really. Was he on a committee??? Because in my Googling I just found out that Ball State helped bring the Superbowl to Indy but and assumed the school in involved with/on the Superbowl committee. IDK about that particular person per se but then again I am not a Google ninja. And yes GRASSY KNOLL indeed because I took a look at that official twitter acct when I was making the post under the assumption that--OH THEY R JUST TWEETING RANDOM CELEBS WITH AN INDY CONNECTION--and they very well could be but I dunno. I mean we have these celeb tweets that are ppl obvsly involved somehow" SuperBowl2012 Indy Super Bowl Did you know that stars from TLC's "Cake Boss" will be attending the @tasteofthenfl? 4rd.ca/aaayxZ 17 Dec SuperBowl2012 Indy Super Bowl We are so excited to see @saraevansmusic perform at @tasteofthenfl! 4rd.ca/aaazw7 SuperBowl2012 Indy Super Bowl Hey, @guyoseary! #Indianapolis is excited to see what Madonna has in store for the Super Bowl half time show! *************** And then we have these tweets which are a collection of celebs either from Indy or going to be in Indy for whatever reason or whatnot: SuperBowl2012 Indy Super Bowl Hey, @johnmellencamp! Will you be headed an hour north of Bloomington for Super Bowl XLVI in February? 14 Dec SuperBowl2012 Indy Super Bowl Hey, @late_Show! Any chance you'll team up with @oprah and @jayleno again for a NEW Super Bo SuperBowl2012 Indy Super Bowl Get your tix now to see @therealmikepps and friends featuring @snoopdogg & @realwizkhalifa! 4rd.ca/aaazxb SuperBowl2012 Indy Super Bowl Hey, @jimgaffigan! Will you be coming HOME to #Indiana for the Super Bowl in February? 6 Dec ***************** So IDK. I mean I WANNA say it's totally random and MEANS something, and the grassy knoll part of me totally goes there, but looking at some of these other tweets now I am not so sure. Oh well. It's prolly nothing LIKE IT ALWAYS IS. But it's always fun to have a mystery to play around with =)

nonchallance I love Robbie and I love this song, I agree with you!! :D Maaan was Robbie a bad boy in his real life or what?? But I also love the sensitive side of him. Since it's a slow day, I love also this concert from Royal Albert Hall, I saw it all on VH1 and when he's singing "my way" he gets all emotional at 3.55 and then when the song ends he picks up the mic and points to his mom saying "Mom this is your son singing I love you!" ohh gosh.. his voice's sexy in his own way... gelly, thank you for the YT ETA: but someone I like Gary Barlow better when they're still on TAKE THAT

I can't stop listening Adam singing the NA. His voice is so amazing. Just his voice, no instruments disturbing the beauty of it. No one can sing it better. No one!

[nods head is agreement!] But I still agree that Adam SHOULD sing the NA at the Superbowl! He was born there -- and is the most famous singer from Indianapolis. But the NFL inviting Adam to sing the NA --- not likely. Why not? They invited Christina, Madonna, BEPs – lots of non "old school" acts and non-traditional "football audience" acts. The organizers are fully aware that the Super Bowl's audience is international and far supersedes your basic football demographic. I don't get why people immediately assume prejudice. I did not say it was related to prejudice -- I do not think Adam is a likely choice. Here are the past 5 years.... XLI 2007 Dolphin Stadium, Miami Gardens Billy Joel ASL performed by Marlee Matlin XLII 2008 University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale Jordin Sparks ASL performed by A Dreamer (of Phoenix College) XLIII 2009 Raymond James Stadium, Tampa Jennifer Hudson ASL performed by Kristen Santos XLIV 2010 Dolphin Stadium, Miami Gardens Carrie Underwood ASL performed by Kinesha Battles XLV 2011 Cowboys Stadium, Arlington,TX Christina Aguilera ASL performed by Candice Villesca 3 Idol alums in the past 5 years -- and not related to network -- 2009 was on NBC like this year's SB, 2007 and 2010 on CBS, 2008 and 2011 were on FOX. Plus, hometown singers often are selected -- Beyonce (Houston 2004), Jordin (Phoenix 2008). But even with that -- and JMHO -- I think Adam is a longshot to sing the NA -- but NOT because he is gay. ETA: The SSB singer is not as important to ratings as the halftime show. Halftime show they try to find someone who appeals to a broad audience and will hold a broad audience -- the SB audience is not a typical football audience. ETA #2: Unlikely or not -- Adam would be the BEST choice to sing it!

Jordin Sparks, Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood and Christina Aguillera?? Four of the five have a great deal in common with Adam (either label mates or Idol alums). They're well overdue for a male and an I'm entirely missing the how he somehow would be a long shot considering this list. Throw in the "native son" aspect and the fact that he will be primary among artists being pushed in the next couple of months, I don't think it's all that far-fetched. JMHO ETA: I'll also toss in the fact that they have had some debacles in recent high-profile games and getting a highly experienced singer might also be on their radar. Chunkey, sorry, I corrected my post about Ball State dude being on committee. I was remembering your Home Planet post wrong. I went back and read it again and fixed.

1. Justin Bieber
2. Lady Gaga
3. Sugababes
4. JLS
5. One Direction
6. Madonna
7. Westlife
8. Adam Lambert
9. Rihanna
10. Britney Spears
EDITOR'S NOTE: This was very mean of you and we do not endorse or agree with any of these choices. (EXCEPT ALL OF THEM.) HAHAHA.. I think the girl on the popjustice twitter got some taste of the BSC Glamberts few weeks ago and she mentioned about it in twitter along with Shoshana. Guess that's why Adam fans were included in their annoying fan base. I guess trying to get Adam fans attention should come with a "WARNING"

My comment about audience was related to how the SSB singer is selected and no promotional opportunity. It would be a terrific promotional slot for Adam. The timing works perfectly with his album release date. That said, I am not holding my breath waiting for this announcement.
