Love that "superhuman vocal range." I have read so many reviews and comments about the single and upcoming album that have used similar descriptors.... all emphasizing Adam's voice as opposed to his status on Idol, his use of guyliner or his orientation. It makes me grin from ear to ear. I don't normally click and save such things, but I think it would be fun to make a collection of these adjectives. So, if any of you have saved these things or links to these things, maybe you could post the relevant quote here, and I will compile them. ??? Just an idea. - Not exactly adjectives, but I saved these descriptions because I enjoyed them. MTV (“vocal fireworks….his pitch-perfect pipes proved to be the real star of the show….when Adam Lambert sings, its out of this world”); The Los Angeles Times (“A show, in every sense of the word…Lambert puts his octave-defying vocal reach on full display”); my favourite - the Philadelphia Inquirer (“His voice is that of an angel with a powerful and dynamic range, a tenor with a glass-cracking falsetto touched by the hand of God and blessed by the spirit of Freddie Mercury”); and the very subjective - 'Unca Dave' went upstairs, opened the door a crack, and "listened to the most beautiful sound I've ever heard - Adam singing" |

I currently have my screensaver setting to randomly scroll all the pics I have stored anywhere. Generally it's Adam or the babies, but a moment ago I looked down to where the laptop was parked (on the floor) and saw.......a full-screen shot of seoulmate - WUT? |

But ouch!  That put the picture all out of proportion. A better proportion for this picture would be 200 tall x 158 wide.  But, but, but then I'd have to do math in the news thread.....  I wish I could get it to do the height automatically (most places it will but not here) then you could just put in the width and let the browser do it for you. |
