I think the fans promoted WWFM big time before much of the promo and video was released.. I kind of remember the same frustration from us.. Like what's going on ,when is the promo .. then after the organic push it started,mainly from the video and VH1 .Remember us voting like mad to get the song to be #1 On VH1 top 20 hits?If my memory serves me right I think this is Adam's promo MO.

This whole roll-out of BTIKM is a complete and utter mystery to me. It's a mystery to me too and IDK if we will ever know their line of thinking with this. I am wondering if they decided to try something new using social media and his fanbase to generate buzz so that when adds date rolls around that--combined with HOPEFULLY all the behind the scenes work they did to woo the radio stations--results in a lot of adds and THEN there will be a massive promo blitz? You are brilliant, Chunkey! I honestly believe this is exactly what they are doing. Exactly..all kidding aside. Well put!  |

I don't have a star.  I have a star on the left hand side for Favorites, but Bookmarks is not there. I'm scorned! (I have Windows 7) OK wait a minute.... I haven't used IE for awhile, but isn't Favorites = Bookmarks? Same thing, right?  you may be right; my gold star is labeled "Favorites" and under that is favorites, feed and history. ETA: I've clicked on everything on my toolbar and bookmarks doesn't come up anywhere. Thanks for all the suggestions; I'll work on this some more tomorrow; gotta get some stuff done before hubby gets home.  |

Well, that's one less witch Adam will have to think about. Michelle Bachmann dropped out of the race. Don't like to bring up politics and neither does Adam, but he called her out on her views on homosexuality (in past tweet). I shutter to think we even came that close to having such a close minded person leading our country. Guess I am out to offend someone today with talk of sex and politics. You guys, I think "promo" means "money" and from what others are describing about adds, etc., it's starting to flow. I found this article back in September. It has an indie slant, but is VERY enlightening as to how songs (really) get on the radio: How to Get Your Song on the Radio: blog.tunecore.com/2011/09/how-to-get-your-song-on-commercial-radio.htmlQuote: Getting a song “added” to a station’s playlist to get a certain number of plays per week involves a rather byzantine process that brings in various parties, called independent promoters (“indies”). Rather, they work more like an intermediary to pass the label’s money to the radio station. That means RCA has to decide Adam is worth the big bucks that are essentially laundered through the "indies" to the radio stations. To me it looks like they have decided that. "Promo" money comes out of the bottom line for Adam's record and is part of the reason recording artists like Adam actually make very little for the sale of their music. What we think of as promo -- personal appearances, endorsements, corporate sponsorships, getting Adam’s music placed in movie, TV, and commercial projects and the like -- are handled by the management company, not by the label. At least that is the way that I understand it. |

There is a calendar link at the top of the page. Each day has a link to a birthday list.
The birthday associated with your Member ID is the birthday you registered with and the one on your profile.
If you hide your age, your birthday will be hidden from members. (I can still see it.)
I have a fix in the works.....but I want to make sure that I fix the right thing.
SO IF YOUR BIRTHDAY IS NOT ON THE CALENDAR, AND YOU DID NOT HIDE YOUR AGE, can you send me a PM?

Hmm wonder what's going on. KLLC 97.3 San Francisco station, the first station to play BTIKM and add it has only played it once today at 3:08 a.m. The plays seems to be getting less rather than more. I was looking at the mediabase charts to see how often it's been played. It was being played 4 or 5 times before.. Yesterday they played it 4 times, and today only once thus far. Does anyone know if there might be a reason for this or if it's an indication of anything? ??? I've called in a request and emailied a request.
