I doubt that QAL would have any weight requirements. But I do think there would be some disappointment if Adam did not show up in shape. These are arena shows with a lot of money on the line. And I think Brian and Roger would like to go a bit longer if they can. But Adam is a professional so I hope he does not think because the average Joe lets himself go at 40, he would need to follow them and show up with Queen looking unlike himself. Even many average Joe/Jane don't roll over at 40 and stop caring how they present themselves. Tho most people are unlikely to care about them because they are not stars and on the public stage, lol. 40 is still pretty young. His brand and looks are part of his career. He is interested in more acting parts and tv opportunities. Look at the way people are giving him props for his looks (along with his personality and critiques) on Starstruck. Vegas and NY looks were not flattering with the big clothes and OTT makeup and he looked uncomfortable, imo. I thought he looked much better on A&D so I hope he will want to continue to work on it. We love him and want him to look and sound his best in any event.

Arena shows, money on the line...are we saying that no overweight performer is able to perform, do arena shows and make $$?
Adele would like a word lol.
I do agree that the QAL shows are a tour de force, and require lots of energy...pretty sure Adam knows, after 10 years, what he has to do to be in shape and to be at his best.
Geesh, guys.

I think it's safe to say Adele puts on a very different show than Adam or QAL, with very different physical demands. Never mind her recent, dramatic weight loss. LOL I'm sure Adam will do what he needs to do for the QAL shows. However, I would have assumed the same for his Vegas residency, but that didn't happen. Maybe that was an eye-opener for him. He didn't move all that much, for him, in Vegas, but he really won't have that option with QAL.

If I had wanted to say that I would have said it but I didn't. I'm not skeered, lol. Queen frontman flashly and flamboyant and moving across the stage. I don't think most fans or the press expect to see an overweight frontman when they think of Queen or QAL. Actually, I don't even think Adam has all that much weight to lose to get in shape and wear some kick-ass rock and roll outfits. I believe he said something about hiking it off so I support him and hope he will do just that.

Probably nobody will see this comment, but just want to thank you, lurleene, for a couple good points, as usual. Nobody wants or expects to see an "overweight frontman" for QAL. But as you say, he doesn't even have that much more weight to lose. First show is May 27, right? That's about 13 weeks. Surely he can go that extra distance to look fabulous for QAL.
