I think this would be a fabulous concept! - get around the "faceless gay lover" problem that america doesn't seem to be ready for. And the lyrics could really be interpreted to work this way - "I know it gets hard sometimes" - having a werewolf for a boyfriend CAN be difficult; "keep my mind off the edge" - things can get pretty tense when the moon is full; "I tried to convince myself it didn't matter if I was alone" - who could love this snarling beast, even if there is a heart of gold under the fur? Enter Sauli in his wolf hat! LOL LOL on the bolded part Yeah, didn't even think of the lyrics, but they really fit, don't they? Don't think Sauli is going to make an appearance tho. I just hope whatever it is, they find an original angle outside of Twilight (although hey, Twilight is uber popular with teens, so can't complain too much) |

I'm betting on Sauli being on the MV somehow. Also like the wolf idea, there could be something .... Adam cannot make this first mv with gay theme. That would not be played in so many channels. :(. He wants to be main stream. And I really hope that Sauli would not do any other cameo, that would be so weird... :-/. On set, maybe, but in the other hand this work. Wolf idea is not gay theme to me. Of course, depends on how it would be done. In general I like the wolf idea. Agree on the gay theme, even if I am very much an LGBT advocate. Mainstream is the way to go now IMO. Agree also on the Sauli topic. Interesting, I'm wondering if other Finns are feeling the same that A should keep S out of the video. Separate the business and the personal lives? Again, just my opinion. |

Adam also lurves vampire/werewolf movies, like True Blood. I think he also enjoys this analogy True Blood uses of the vampire community and the LGBT community. So it's a smart way to get at some of the LGBT issues by using a pop culture reference, without explicitly dealing with them.

I love this place!  We get 2 tidbits about wolves, 1) Adam visits the Waystation and loves the wolves 2) Cinematographer has Werewolf in his bio and has worked on horror flcks And now we have the whole video figured out!! I love you guys!!!!! |

Huh. Werewolves eh? Tryng to think of how this theme could be done without seeming corny. No offense, I just can't see it personally. Especially not with this song. I dunno....maybe my brain isn't as creative as yours. I could see it with like a freaky dance tune but...IDK. It seems like something Gaga would do and I'm kinda sick of her rn so maybe that's why i am like MEH.
But then again some ppl didn't like my idea of having a performance focused video with Rihanna Only Girl in the World type of stuning visuals/possibly in black and white. So we all have our preferences =)

Oh yeah chnukey, I agree with you actually, it could totally get corny. But I think there's a way to do it where it's not, it's just kinda edgy and could make a splash in pop culture because it's so different.
I also agree with you that the visuals need to be stunning - that's actually what hopefully would make it not corny.
But uuuuhhh, we know nothing, so yeah. This is total speculation at this point. But I'm avoiding work.
