So many times they asked him about Sauli , so many questions referring to Sauli and Adam avoided mentioning his name. The more they pushed the more Adam avoided it and talked about being gay in general. Smart man. In the other interviews they didn't ask him so much about Sauli and Adam said so himself haha. They should have known better how to handle Adam. ETA Not that I didn't like the interview, I liked it, and they seem to support him very much, so all's good. It's also possible that Adam and his PR team already have planned what information they are going to disclose to which outlet. That's extremely common. Could be that for the other interview (I think it was with Out, right, so an LGBT publication) he wanted to talk about his relationship. With this, he wanted to focus more on the music. ETA: And while this is an important interview (UK and all), it is not an Ellen interview or Rolling Stone interview or some major outlet. I don't think that he could give them extra scoop - I think they are saving that for major sources of news.

music.msn.com/2012-new-music-guide-major-albums/photo-gallery/feature/?photoidx=4Guys, Guys! This is on the main page of MSN, and Adam is #3 of stories about new music this year, after Madonna and Chris Brown. We need to give this site some hits and make some positive comments, the haters are already representing there. So sad about their ignorance, but we need to put some nice stuff up for peeps to see! JMHO Damnn that is one hot pic! RAK STAHHHH AFL!

I agree and I liked the part of him talking about the people who collaborated with.

I loved the interview. I feel the interviewer came across respectfully and of course, Adam spoke so eloquently, as usual. There will always, at least for a good while, be gay questions. That is an important part of Adam as an entertainer. He is breaking ground in a whole new way - a young, good-looking sexy artist who is gay and isn't afraid to be himself. He is proud of who he is and he handles the questions to perfection. and it doesn't hurt that females find him so sexy and enticing. He has such broad appeal, or should I say - he appeals to broads too. ;D

Nice, but short(ish) interview. Not much new info about the album or music. And Adam really totally avoided the questions refferring to Sauli (his influence to songwriting etc.). Comparing to the earlier openness that seemed weird. Must be some PR-thing. (Hope so.) I didn't hear the interview, only read. They didn't play BTIKM? I thought they would do that, but they must have had some reason. Have a nice day everyone!

Great interview - except too short. They used beautiful pictures of Adam, too.
"PressParty" points out in the comments that Adam chose what questions he responded to, so I think he said just what he wanted to about exactly what he wanted to talk about.
The Pharrell collab is going to be so interesting.

Here is a comment from the interview page with a response from PressParty. Stephanie Wood · Top commenter · Infinity Property and Casualty:Interviewer a little too pushy about Adam's personal relationship but he has become a pro at steering interviews in the direction he wants them to go in and keep the focus on the topic at hand: his music. Adam cannot be labeled or pigeon-holed. He is an artist who makes music that has mass appeal (as he said). Just like Aftermath has specific meaning for Adam the lyrics are universal enough that others can relate to it in different ways. Same with Outlaws of Love. Great interview and as always, Adam is brilliant. Reply · 3 · · 43 minutes ago PresspartyAdam himself was able to pick the questions he wanted to answer PP x Reply · 3 · · 30 minutes ago

Pressparty responded to one of the comments on the bottom and said that Adam got to choose which questions he answered.
