Angelina Kalahari says she will make a video about Nessun. She is currently very busy, so we have to wait a bit. But, in response to my question about whether Adam could have been successful as an opera singer she said, "yes, opera would have catapulted him into mega stardom by now."
A loss to the opera world, but a gift to the rock/pop world.

I thought the same thing. I don't often care or think about the Idol audience but after Nessun, I did. Adam first came on Idol at 26 but he was serious, mature and had substance. You knew he was going places. He was different from the general Idol contestants but there were no OTT antics for attention. He gained attention with his outstanding vocals and performance skills. No overly heavy makeup (only a little eyeliner), no drag attire (Ada Vox), no childlike costumes (there was a 20 something gay woman who dressed like a teenage boy). Adam was very talented and not immature, or lacking in confidence as some were. And he stood out. But the Idol audience only voted for the boy/girl next door to win by the time he was on the show and that he was not, lol. I think his loss hurt Idol but it did not harm him. He has reached extraordinary heights as a mature but still rather young man and with more to come. He does not always take himself too seriously and can have fun but he is taken seriously by the fans and the industry as a serious and accomplished artist.

The rock world appreciates him through his Queen collab.
