gingerpf - What I know he takes a cab (some private meetings w his friends, hairdresser), goes w Adam (movies etc.) and walks when ever he can. At least he said he felt himself as "walking weirdo" when he arrived to LA and liked to walk the shorter distances while other's would like to go by car (this is his again his style of expressint things  . Anitta - Yes I remember reading that he walks alot & I think that's really a great thing. LA is such a "car" city - if you don't have a car, people think you are crazy! But when you walk, you can see so much more of a place & you can stop in all the little shops that you would miss if you were driving. I love this about Sauli - he's just so unique! And also, Sauli is not as well known in LA so he can walk places without being recognized. Adam, on the other hand, cannot go anywhere without paps! (a guilty pleasure for us but sometimes not always for him) |

I'd say Sauli's comments are many times sarcastic, he exaggerates sometimes a bit and they are said tongue-in-cheek. You get it better when you hear him speaking and see his facial expressions. It's been his style always. It's helpful to know that these statements are not necessarily meant to be taken seriously. Translations are hard. I pick up on the exaggerations sometimes but not others. I find myself doing this ??? to some of the stuff he says and often wonder if it is all being taken literally by Finns. I guess maybe it's more the other way around. Thanks for your views--love having a representative of all parts of the planet in each conversation! Sarcasm and tongue-in-cheek are often lost in translation. I find it sometimes helps to read more than one translated version of something, because there are different word-choices and colloquial phrases in English that might make the humor behind something more apparent. @moominbert on twitter is great for those wanting a second version of just the blog posts (in addition to the great great hard work done in SC here). It's my understanding that she translates between written Finnish/English professionally. |

Adam will still perform songs from his first album. I hope so anyway, because he needs to make his show a bit longer this time around. Hoping for no less than 90 minutes + encore. #entitled |

I've been gone a lot today. I just wanted to pop in and tell PJD how much I enjoyed seeing the Christmas lighting of your home! Wow! Just beautiful!! So much work involved. How long did it take to put it all up?  I loved Adam's blog message...especially the 'our' part! ;D |
