I'm still really hoping that they'll have a virtual option for this mini tour...I'll certainly buy a ticket if they do.And considering it'll be Halloween, I'm pretty sure we'll be talking about outfit(s) lol. You know Adam loves a good outfit and shoes. Love the guy, can't see that changing any time soon. Me too. But I also think, that the info that they’re trying to make that possible, does stop some people from buying real tickets. So I don’t expect any news on that soon. |

A few days ago I made a post here addressing the relative silence about Adam's mini tour in October - here and elsewhere - as I have been wondering for a while now why he hasn't sold more tickets so far. I can't help but check ticket sales for Adam's "Upcoming Events" pretty regularly and I keep shaking my head how the much accoladed front man for Queen can't sell better for his own concerts. And we are not talking about large venues here. It's likely a combination of factors as discussed yesterday, but I do not want to put the blame solely on society and the music industry. I understand that it is an effort both physically and financially to get to see Adam solo, but it used to be different and fans went out of their ways to get to attend his concerts. To be honest, the Adam that we fell in love with has changed as well. We are all aware of it. Still, to me it feels like celebrating and getting re-acquainted with a dear relative in October. |

You can be an Adam fan without being able or wanting to go to every concert or every type of show. It has never been a price thing for me but I was never a huge fan of flying. After all that went into place with Covid, I'm even less of a fan of flying now. Adam had moved away from "playing dress up" to stylish, sophisticated and edgy outfits or QAL rock attire but seems to be all in with the costumes and heavy makeup again. So a Halloween show is out for me but would go to his solo concerts without that theme, if he came anywhere nearby. But he offers something for everyone at different times and that is why we are fans. And Velvet is not that old. So I have no problem with the music he would play or covers in concert. I'm sure many fans don't either. Adam has never been one for putting out new albums every two years so, like some, so just not expecting anything new right now.
Muse is signed with Warner UK. And Daughtry is indie but has a distribution deal with Warner. Said he was not interested in doing anything popish anymore. And he got more rock radio play than he ever did in the past so I guess Warner can get it done if they want. Maybe Adam can get some radio play outside of chasing pop but we shall see. But even a distribution deal with Warner would be better than what he had with Empire.

I‘m just not sure, if he’s working on another „album“ or if it’s „songs“. But he said, there will be new music before the end of the year. And that won’t be the musical. |

sizzling63 Thanks for your reply! I didn’t think, that you expect us European fans to travel to the US for these concerts. I just liked to think about, how I feel about them and possibly spending a lot of money to see them. 😁 I am a fan just like the rest of us and I think there should not be any expectation in terms of fan involvement, as everybody's situation and priorities are different. However, I have noticed a shift when it comes to demand for solo Adam, so I felt the need to express it and talk about it. |

I haven't followed the IG talks too closely, but after a recent one I had the impression that Adam would head to the studio right after QAL and record new music/a new song unrelated to the concept album. May be it was just wishful thinking, but I am keeping my fingers crossed. |

At first I thought, that he might finally record something with Brian and Roger. But in this last live IG from Tampere he said, he would hit the studio in LA. So it‘s unlikely that the new music will be with them. |

It’s really a shame that Velvet got cut off by Covid plus his unannounced tour with Christina (I think he confirmed that was planned?). I think that would have brought some new US fans. He really needs a new hit song to boost him. Get on some TV shows. It’s been 3 years since he toured with Queen in the US, out of sight, out of mind.
