Craazyforadam please don't go. I think we're all proud of the charity campaigns we've done. I think people wanted juniemom to know she was loved as we want you to know you are loved, too. We all know everyone's ideas and opinions are welcomed here.  Craazy, I have apologized for my post this morning which proved to be so unpopular. Needless to say I wish I had kept my mouth shut. It seems to me that the vast, vast majority of folks on the site loved your idea and are up for another big charity drive. Perhaps the thing to do is not to compare it to charity:water one way or another, but to think of this year as a clean slate. I don't know what else to say. I'm very grateful for the kindness of those who supported my right to an unpopular opinion and as far as I know that's all they were saying and there is plenty of love to go around. I always love reading your posts. By the time I realized the post was going to be as controversial as it turned out to be, it was too late to delete it. I really don't know what else to say to make it right. Thank you JunieMom and Craazy for your opinions. There are no rights and wrongs here. For me both of you have valid points. Just as red is as valid as blue. The only important thing for me is that Someone is Being Helped. Adam using his star power to help even at least a handful of people , is already a great thing for me. Charity programs is never smooth. But overcoming the wrinkles is worth when someone is helped. If he uses his star power to help even one child as this ... in photo... I am humbled ......  And I agree , charity like music is a personal choice. It cannot be imposed . And I also agree that it does not hurt to inform Adam of valid causes for Charity out there. It is up to him to decide which way he wants to go and endorse. |
