I've done a lot of work with ad agencies. When it comes to fashion, the model is hired to fit the clothes, even for print ads. As Q3 explained, samples from designers are typically made in one size, so agencies hire models who can wear the clothes, with some very minor nips and tucks. That's why there are such tight parameters for the physiques of fashion models. Male models need to be between 5'11'' and 6'2"; there are also weight and body measurement restrictions. So, as cute as he is, Sauli is too short and has too slight a build to to be a fashion model.

Restrictions are waived if the "model" is a celebrity. So Sauli could be doing modeling for a project for the Finnish market. But he is not a celebrity here in the U.S. Yes, most of Adam's fans know who he is, but the reality is the majority of people in the U.S. don't.
