This "Cruise the Play" seems similarly themed to Fairyland and Jobriath.

Very interesting article about the history between Taylor Hawkins and Queen. ultimateclassicrock.com/brain-may-roger-taylor-taylor-hawkins-tribute/A few teaser quotes: The late drummer connected with his idols even before joining Foo Fighters. Hawkins was touring with Alanis Morissette when he met May for the first time and the two “instantly bonded.” "Taylor has been the best publicist for Queen ever. He's been so good for our image because he kind of regarded us as cool, whereas a lot of people at that time didn't," May recalled during a 2022 interview with SiriusXM (via People). Hawkins maintained a relationship with the Queen musicians over the years. In 1998, May recruited the Foo Fighters drummer to play on "Cyborg," a track on the guitarist’s solo album Another World. Soon afterward, May joined Foo Fighters to record a cover of Pink Floyd's "Have a Cigar." Even as Hawkins became a star, he remained a proud Queen fan. The drummer consistently covered the classic rockers in his cover band Chevy Metal and even regularly took lead vocals at Foo Fighters shows to perform a Queen cover (most often “Somebody to Love” or “Tie Your Mother Down”). In 2001, Grohl and Hawkins inducted Queen into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, another experience the drummer always reflected upon glowingly. “If you watch my face on that Hall of Fame thing, I'm just smiling the entire time," Hawkins confessed to Rhythm magazine in 2002, admitting he still viewed Taylor as a “mythical superhero” even after the two became friends. PS…re: Grohl/Brian/Roger friendship. The first night of the Apollo Hammersmith concert, I think it was Dave Grohl that sat in the row behind me ….just over my right shoulder ….along with Geldof (corrected with Rhiannasu’s help) Geffen ( producer of Live Aid) and someone else. I have the pic of Geffen Geldof and the third person! I just checked that pic …but Grogl was cut off…as my focus was actually on sneaking a photograph of the Lambert Family, Sauli and Danielle at the time. I knew the name Geldof, when people recognized the trio. One was a famous drummer/guitar player. But at the time, the name David Grohl was not familiar to me. Bamafan by chance sat right beside me on my left. She may remember the trio behind and to our right.

Taylor Hawkins also made appearances in the Queen + Adam Lambert movie, "The Show Must Go On". He sure did….and many superlatives were woven into that documentary. I wish I had known at the time of viewing TSMGO…the very personal relationship Taylor had with Roger and Brian. I wondered why him. And in particular I wondered why Joe Jonas, until it clicked that Adam had the same management team at the time. ( to me that was just a PR move for Joe).

I wonder what Adam is doing or had planned that made him "unavailable" if he were going to be in the UK anyway? Maybe the Starstruck taping dates changed? Or maybe working on another one of his projects? Obviously a rhetorical question, as I doubt Shosh will answer even if a Glambert asks her and it's none of our business anyway, but it just seems strange to me. She just said "working", so it must be for one of his (seems like many) projects. She said "we are working" so that to me means either press or planning for press.
