There's something to be said for not EVERY single solitary thing happening at once. There's so much going on that's FANTASTIC for Adam and not just professionally. Very thoughtful post, Bridget. Especially agree with the above.

*** My wish for Adam is for him to make whatever music feels true to him, and to present it in his own authentic style. I think he did present his music that way diring the GNT, and that is why he connected so powerfully with audiences. *** Those are my thoughts, and that is how I hope to best support my own son as he makes sometimes risky musical choices, and that is how I plan to support Adam with whatever musical, performance and fashion styles he chooses to put out in the future.
Because I am a mad fan of the artist, of the talent and of the VOICE, BUT I am also a mad fan of the man himself.so, dance Aftermath? Bring it on, GNAFL! Lovely post, Lynne! Yess, bring it on!

Oh dear. I just got home and looked at my e-mails. HMV Japan's supplier of the April issue of Movie Star Magazine (with Adam) has run out of stock. Why can't these magazines get it straight, that Adam is popular? Does anyone know if all the suppliers are out?

lynne--Adam would be giving you a standing ovation for that post and he'd probably say "you get it" and you do. Thank you so much for posting your thoughts for all of us to think about and enjoy. I don't save or bookmark too many things, but this is a keeper!

I don't think Adam would change what he wants to do not be influenced by s boyfriend so that he'd change his look. He's fought too long & hard to be himself. I do however think he has decided, for right now at least, that this is how he wants to present himself. Hopefully get everyone off the eyeliner line of question. Fondly remember David Bowie & Madonna switching up for each album. Rad- I think you are spot on. I was chatting with someone at ALF in connection w something else and she raised a concern that she felt some fans were making well-intentioned comments re Adam appearing 'more manly' and 'mainstream' lately w less make up, less 'WeHo' - and how this was a sign of him becoming more mature, comfortable, authentic, whatever. Now I feel ATOP wholeheartedly loves Adam's changing looks and ascribes no agenda other than Adam's characteristic 'wear what I'm feelin today.'. AND I think there's no shortage of love love love for Zodiac/OTT Adam round these parts! But for any outliers I gently submit that Adam has made it clear (with lots of photographic evidence) that he embraces 'the queens of WeHo' as family. Suggesting that a more 'straight acting' Adam is somehow better steps on some sensitivities - j/s. (I hope I don't need a sofa to hide behind as I'm currently w/out furniture. Actually any suggestions re where to find attractive sofas gratefully accepted - no country or floral themes but also not all low and super modern:)).

Mika- Do we even want to know where your furniture went to? Does it vacation without you? I've been trying to decide what I wanted to say about this, and you just said it for me. I think people make a mistake if they equate Adam's new look with manliness. or even describing Sauli as a more masculine boyfriend. That makes me squirm. I think Sauli is less theatrical in his presentation (at least what we've seen- we shouldn't feel like we really "know" much about him) than many of the people in Adam's life. And Adam may be making less theatrical choices after spending 6 solid months on a stage. But I would be completely surprised if he doesn't get tired of this look in a bit, and then he'll knock our socks off with something else.
