I'm not sure I'd get sick of it, but I would love to be able to start saying, "Man, every time I turn on the radio, they're playing that song!" I still haven't heard it on the radio either, even though the station I listen to, KUDD Mix 107.9 in Utah, supposedly plays it. They can't go two hours without playing Kelly Clarkson's Mr. Know It All, and there's a couple of other songs that I always seem to hear no matter when I tune in, but I'm getting frustrated waiting to hear BTIKM. Today I found the website for Mix 107.9 and made an "e-quest." If anyone else is in the SLC area, you can request the song here www.mix1079fm.com/equest.php?var=equestJust talked to my daughter is SLC/Park City. Bringing In the family. I guess I should get something for having her live so far away. She says she will send an email each day for me in my behalf, lol. Murly, I just requested the song online. I will do it daily until I finally hear it. I am so sick of listening to the same 5 songs, or so it seems, just to get the opportunity to hear BTIKM once. I hope Utah comes around soon! :  |

Annie--I gots NO qualms about saying how much I hate it. He normally takes good photos, but him looking dog tired + bad photographer + stupid cheesy ass rose= WORST PHOTOSHOOT EVAH. EDIT: WOOT! This is an appropriate top post for the next photo shoot free (hopefully) page! hAAAAAA  nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! |

Ok, I really wanted to post that picture cause Gelly said, "He's dreaming about Paris". Well, if he's dreaming about Paris, then Paris must have hurt! Go back and look at that picture. Tell me it didn't. LOL I didn't say dreaming about Paris. I said "dreaming in Paris. And when I look at that picture I see a relaxed man , dreaming about being in vacation with his new bf. But that's how I look at it. You don't have to agree! |

I read on the Numbers thread that they're one of the stations that has played it, but I've listened for several hours at a time and heard several songs more than once in that time while not hearing BTIKM at all! |

Reading through the rest of yesterday's thread and today's thread and I keep seeing references to the fact that this album will be or may be as big or bigger then Adele or Katy Perry's albums.....and while I would LOVE that to happen, I hope we as a fandom temper our expectations a bit. I mean their kind of success is pretty exceptional--not many artists nowadays sell that many albums or have that many number 1's from an album--and I think it's waaaay too soon to get our hopes up that much. This is not to say it can't happen or he isn't talented enough to produce material to get him there....I just think we should wait to hear the material before we make such grandiose statements is all. YMMV. Did the audio postion of Byron's thing come out yet? Jeebus. IA, don't jinx it. I'm feeling occasional ambitious thoughts that he is in competition with current Jessie J or could even get up there with 2010 Bruno. That would be awesome in my book, anything else is gravy. |

I am hoping for a time of heightened exposure and recognition for Adam (spanding several years) that becomes an enduring place in music. This does not necessarily mean so much success that people wish he would fall off the planet. I don't want him to be a flash in the pan. I wish for Adam a career like Elton John, Billy Joel, Queen, ect. They all had thier moment in the sun after a slower build-up of recognition, then they have retained a place in music history. |
