Ok, I really wanted to post that picture cause Gelly said, "He's dreaming about Paris". Well, if he's dreaming about Paris, then Paris must have hurt! Go back and look at that picture. Tell me it didn't. LOL I didn't say dreaming about Paris. I said "dreaming in Paris. And when I look at that picture I see a relaxed man , dreaming about being in vacation with his new bf. But that's how I look at it. You don't have to agree! oh, see, I did an unofficial quote cause I didn't want to bring the picture to the page...my apologies!!! Personally I think all Adam pictures are good (except that crazy one after the EMAs) but I still say, in that one, he looks like it hurt.

Reading through the rest of yesterday's thread and today's thread and I keep seeing references to the fact that this album will be or may be as big or bigger then Adele or Katy Perry's albums.....and while I would LOVE that to happen, I hope we as a fandom temper our expectations a bit. I mean their kind of success is pretty exceptional--not many artists nowadays sell that many albums or have that many number 1's from an album--and I think it's waaaay too soon to get our hopes up that much. This is not to say it can't happen or he isn't talented enough to produce material to get him there....I just think we should wait to hear the material before we make such grandiose statements is all. YMMV. Did the audio postion of Byron's thing come out yet? Jeebus. I agree Chunky, the attention that KP and her ilk have garnered is an exception to the norm. I am hoping for a time of heightened exposure and recognition for Adam (spanding several years) that becomes an enduring place in music. This does not necessarily mean so much success that people wish he would fall off the planet. I don't want him to be a flash in the pan. I wish for Adam a career like Elton John, Billy Joel, Queen, ect. They all had thier moment in the sun after a slower build-up of recognition, then they have retained a place in music history. But, what people forget is that Katy Perry (Bruno, Gaga, Rhianna) weren't huge until they had that first GINORMOUS song!! There has to be a first, a place, and a time when it all starts! The only person I've seen blow up, out of nowhere (besides Beiber and he doesn't count due to the pre teen market) has been KE$HA. All the others perservered (for several years)and finally had that one huge song that suddenly made all the right people sit up and take notice. I think this is Adam's time!

That's what I want for him, too, and I believe he will attain that. ETA: Agree w/ rabbitrabbit and mys*&@^#r50's posts as well (everyone keeps saying such great stuff!). I think this new era is going to be so exciting and remember, Adam said "this year is gonna be nuts!" I'm ready!

It's like being at a big family dinner where some of the people are having a serious conversation while the others are throwing peas at each other.

I am spamming the page, so it seems. I really rarely post. Uff Da!
I have to go get my daughter from preschool soon, but I want to share that I think she may be becoming and Adam Lambert lifelong fan. I burned BTIKM onto a CD to listen to in our car, tired of waiting for some Utah station to play it on-air, and Willa has come to love it.
Now when she gets in the car she will request Adam Lambert. As the CD player is preparing to play the track, she will push me to "Turn it up, Mom." When he hits the chorus in the song and his voice hits the higher registers, her eyes open wide and she listens carefully, it is so cute.
I asked her the other day if she liked the song or Adam Lambert. She answered Adam Lambert. She loves his AI performances that I have burned onto a DVD. She'll watch it repeatedly.
She has been hearing his voice since she was 6 months old. I wonder when she is a teenager what she will think. Will she still like listening to him, or will she think it is "Mom's music"? It will be fun to find out how it turns out.
