Reading through the rest of yesterday's thread and today's thread and I keep seeing references to the fact that this album will be or may be as big or bigger then Adele or Katy Perry's albums.....and while I would LOVE that to happen, I hope we as a fandom temper our expectations a bit. I mean their kind of success is pretty exceptional--not many artists nowadays sell that many albums or have that many number 1's from an album--and I think it's waaaay too soon to get our hopes up that much. This is not to say it can't happen or he isn't talented enough to produce material to get him there....I just think we should wait to hear the material before we make such grandiose statements is all. YMMV. Did the audio postion of Byron's thing come out yet? Jeebus. IA, don't jinx it. I'm feeling occasional ambitious thoughts that he is in competition with current Jessie J or could even up there with 2010 Bruno. That would be awesome in my book, anything else is gravy. If this album is as good as all the writers/producers/musicians/and DJ's that have heard it are saying, I don't see why it can't be HUGE. Adele blew up on her 2nd album, and so did Katy Perry, and Bruno has been behind the scenes paying dues for a long time, just like Adam. Hey, a girl can dream...........

But before we retire, please post that one photo where he is in bed and looks like he really just woke up (I still think he actually fell asleep, momentarily, and the bed photos are for real!)

Annie--I gots NO qualms about saying how much I hate it. He normally takes good photos, but him looking dog tired + bad photographer + stupid cheesy ass rose= WORST PHOTOSHOOT EVAH. EDIT: WOOT! This is an appropriate top post for the next photo shoot free (hopefully) page! hAAAAAA Gotta agree -- the Paris photoshoot didn't show Adam at his best. But I still think the worst photos of Adam came out of the Young Hollywood awards in 2009. The outfit and the hair were downright fugly. I used to cringe whenever one of those photos would surface. Thankfully, they aren't being used in media stories anymore. Yay!

It's like being at a big family dinner where some of the people are having a serious conversation while the others are throwing peas at each other.

I am spamming the page, so it seems. I really rarely post. Uff Da! I have to go get my daughter from preschool soon, but I want to share that I think she may be becoming and Adam Lambert lifelong fan. I burned BTIKM onto a CD to listen to in our car, tired of waiting for some Utah station to play it on-air, and Willa has come to love it. Now when she gets in the car she will request Adam Lambert. As the CD player is preparing to play the track, she will push me to "Turn it up, Mom." When he hits the chorus in the song and his voice hits the higher registers, her eyes open wide and she listens carefully, it is so cute. I asked her the other day if she liked the song or Adam Lambert. She answered Adam Lambert. She loves his AI performances that I have burned onto a DVD. She'll watch it repeatedly. She has been hearing his voice since she was 6 months old. I wonder when she is a teenager what she will think. Will she still like listening to him, or will she think it is "Mom's music"? It will be fun to find out how it turns out. Aww! I loved your story. She will probably be a life time fan because she was introduced to Adam so young. My mom played Frank Sinatra all the time and, in my teenage years, I kept listening to him right along with my rock and motown!! ;D

My only fear for her is that she started with the best voice around so she'll find it difficult to find another performer to enjoy because she'll be comparing that person to Adam and find them wanting. I know that's how it is with me. Nobody sounds as good to me anymore. I hear the flaws in other artists' performances too easily.

You mean this one? :D YES!!!!!!!!! If that doesn't look like someone who was doing a normal photo shoot (the one with the rose and all) that just laid back on the bed in the hotel room they were using and accidentally fell asleep for a few minutes.... well..... that's the story in my head and I am sticking to it! ;D ETA: His hand is not in his pants. It is just laying cross his pelvic area and the Glam Bulge is obscurring part of it!
