Lakato and I shared a hotel room when we both went to the FS concert back a million years ago. We'd never met each other and just worked out the logistics on the old PF site. Thanks for being a great roomie and for not killing me in my sleep!

Awww I'm glad ya'll are so optimistic. I am more of someone walking the middle of the road between optimistic and pessimistic. A realist. I may have my pie in the sky moments of flail or hormonal bouts of angst but ultimately I like to keep my expectations in check. I really do think the album is gonna be great and I think he will have more acceptance from radio this time around...however he will always have challenges to face here in the great US of A (that stands for united states of assholery) that unfortunately a lot of other pop stars don't have to face, as totally unfair as that may be. Hopefully with more success those last remaining chains tying him down will fall away and he will soar (HEELLLLLO SUPER CHEESY SENTENCE! LMAOOOO) but for now I am trying keep my expectations to the level that it will at least do as well as FYE. Anything over that, like Rabbit said, is gravy. Yes this! I totally agree. This is wear I'm at. I love what you said Skylar, and if you can do that, that's great. I'm just kind of against dreaming big, and having sky high expectations, and getting angry when he doesn't reach them, when there was a 0.000001% chance of him ever getting that high anyway. I guess I just don't want to set myself up for angst, especially since I'm prone to angst anyway...

Re expectations for "Trespassing" - my view - 8-) Why dream if you can't dream BIG. With dreams, the sky's the limit. That's what dreaming is all about. What good is it to dream small or just mediocre. If the dream meets or exceeds the wishes, how glorious that is. If the fulfillment falls a bit short, at least the aim was high. and those are my words of wisdom for today. haha - ;D

Thanks for being a great roomie and for not killing me in my sleep! if I remember correctly we flailed/stalked/partied most of the night...and not much sleeping was done!! Hope to see you again at a concert SOON!!! I would think Adam will need to do a few one offs to get ready for the next tour!

Often wishes become hopes become expectations become disappointment/angst (at least that's how i've seen it play out in fandom sometimes). As long I remember that when I offer a wish to the universe for something, the next step is to let it go so the universe can receive it, saal gooood. /navel gazing
